Is the Axiom a good choice for a beginner? Looking for a river runner in which I can also learn the right technique.
No, you should first go with a "neutral" boat, not with such a flat back stern construction. You first have to learn eddy turns and becoming comfortly on currents to ww III, my opinion.
what size axiom is Liam paddling and how much does he weigh?
this is axiom 8.5, and he is probably somewhere between 175-180lbs

Good luck WeNeedIt You need a friend and an another car so that you can leave that car at the river exit while you drive the second car to the top. You could also leave the kayak up, drive down, hitchhike back up.

Why does every single kayak video include a slow motion sequence of closing the spraydeck as if it were the most dramatic thing in the world? It's just a spraydeck. Get over it.
