I like how different they portrait qingmu. I mean. The expression. His presence. Xu kai is indeed such a good actor. How can he give such a different feeling between qingmu and bai jue?! Same goes for the FL. She also give such a different feels between houchi and shanggu! The casting here is just perfect! I really admire them.
Qingmu for me is the representation of what bai jue wants to be. To be a free man not holding any responsibility but love. Bai jue couldn’t do all of those but qingmu can

Oh man I can watch this battle scene so often it's just so intense and then then Qingmu Came in and oh man look on Shangu's face, There was so much love on her face. It's really sad the way they They both got separated, But I'm glad that in the end they got each other back.
Just finished watching 49 episode. Saluted to all espcially the director and all the actor and actress. I watched a lot of xian xia , wu xia drama including untamed, ashes of love, sword of dynasty, endless of love, no boundary, ever nite, but this drama make me tears a lot and feel very deep in love matters..pure love will never dies and never ending story ..very good cgc presentation and look like so real and i can feel the action in my mind after finished every single episode. Hopefully there will be series 2 to cont true love of bai jue and shang gu.. love this movie 😙😙😙😙😙 and i rated it 10/10 🤗😗
I don't see it that way.... Houchi and Qinfmu did have a beautiful story.... they were immortals. Their existences transcend for more than just earthly traditions of love, family, and procreation.
umm...not really. Qingmu is half of Baijue. If we forget that one half of his split self took the name Qingmu, they are still the same person. Qingmu is always inside Baijue. He is one half of Baijue's whole being. Plus Houchi is Shanggu. She was born from Shanggu's soul. They are the same person. Just that when she was Houchi she did not remember her life as a goddess (Plus Bai Jue restricted her spiritual veins.) and when she became a goddess again, Bai jue once again repressed the memories she had as Houchi. When he sacrifices himself he returns all her memories back to her through the bracelet. Houchi and Shanngu are the same person. I find it like a beautiful love story that no matter what, Bai jue and Shanngu always find their way back to each other. They began their love as Gods, they got to live and enjoy their life together as a normal immortal couple (no matter how short it was, it was Shanggu's last wish when she sacrificed herself in the tribulation), and finally they found their way back to each other as gods once again where they god to live the rest of their lives together. Also in this fight, Bai Jue purposefully split himself so that he could fully use the demonic power he cultivated as Qingmu. He merged back soon cuz he was afraid that Shanggu would remember her immortal life before.
Every time people feel sorry for Qingmu and Houchi, I wonder why? They were literally just Bai Jue and Shanggu with amnesia, Qingmu was even going around looking for who he was since the name wasn't even his, I can't remember if he says he named himself or someone gave him the name. Their personalities are just part of Bai Jue and Shanggu now, they didn't actually die or disappear.

Nah, lmao. Bai Jue -- had to return quickly to save Qing Mu's life and only returned with less than half his power (40%). Tian Qi - still recovering after the spear stab by Bai Jue, probably a God but not to True Go or Upper God level. Shang Gu - doesn't fully have knowledge and doesn't have her full power. Trust me, if Bai Jue came back with his overpowered self, this drama would have ended when he absorbed Qing Mu. But the plot had to prevent that or else xD.
Qingmu and Houchi can't coexist with Baijue and Shanggu because THEY'RE THEM. It's like saying, oh I wish this amnesiac version of this person can coexist with this person. It's nonsensical.

Nope, she was fishy from the start. It’s not bad to have ambition I understand why she wanted to go up the ladder. But when she first approach the gods, it was not out of pure kindness, it was with other intentions. Yes it was an innocent intention but the fact that she did those things not because she cares but because of her own gain. It was just not emphasize because she herself believe that she is kind, look at the ending, she still don’t admit that she is wrong.
Not a single emotion on Bai Jue's face, when JingJian died. How hard-hearted he is, and how different from Qingmu. Wonder how Qingmu would have reacted. Even Shanggu, who barely knows Jingjian, shows some emotion. But nothing on Bai Jue's face. If the situation was any different, and Bai jue was not pretending to lose his "qingmu-memories", would he have shown some sadness or care for Jingjian? Or would he still be "impersonal true god Bai Jue"? What a complex character he is.

I love his love for her. I know he hurt Shanggu but it was all for her. Sure he is selfish, but when you once saw the love of your life die in front of your eyes and you knew one day she might also die again, what will you do? His love is silent, patient, and enduring. He can choose to take her and leave all the chaos to spend their lifetime together but he didn’t. As much as he love her, he also love the three realms, his love is a balance love, not mindless, not reckless. He have three options, give her up and watch her die for the second time, give up the world, or give himself up, he choose the last option-his love is giving. Maybe that’s why Qingmu came to life. To do the things that Bai jue can’t. He is a God, qingmu is a nameless immortal. He is strict and always upright, qingmu is a free soul. He can’t love freely but qingmu can. Wu hang was so nice in past look what she did .
Nope, she was fishy from the start. It’s not bad to have ambition I understand why she wanted to go up the ladder. But when she first approach the gods, it was not out of pure kindness, it was with other intentions. Yes it was an innocent intention but the fact that she did those things not because she cares but because of her own gain. It was just not emphasize because she herself believe that she is kind, look at the ending, she still don’t admit that she is wrong.

If the situation was any different, and Bai jue was not pretending to lose his "qingmu-memories", would he have shown some sadness or care for Jingjian? Or would he still be "impersonal true god Bai Jue"?

well I have to say bai jue love shang gu the most craziest..he endured 60 thousand years to recover shanggu soul..to revive her.. and then lastly sacrifice his life to exchange for her safety..his love for shanggu will not lose to qingmu for houchi.. xD

@@WilliamTs88 But Shanggu is selfish. He only cares about what he wants. He wants to sacrifice himself so Shanggu lives but he never thought that would be more painful for Shanggu than dying. And he hurt her in the process of doing all what he thinks is best for her but in truth it is just what is best for him. His love for her is true but selfish.
I love his love for her. I know he hurt Shanggu but it was all for her. Sure he is selfish, but when you once saw the love of your life die in front of your eyes and you knew one day she might also die again, what will you do? His love is silent, patient, and enduring. He can choose to take her and leave all the chaos to spend their lifetime together but he didn’t. As much as he love her, he also love the three realms, his love is a balance love, not mindless, not reckless. He have three options, give her up and watch her die for the second time, give up the world, or give himself up, he choose the last option-his love is giving.
Maybe that’s why Qingmu came to life. To do the things that Bai jue can’t. He is a God, qingmu is a nameless immortal. He is strict and always upright, qingmu is a free soul. He can’t love freely but qingmu can. Qingmu will always choose his love and leave the world, Bai jue can’t. Qingmu and Houchi is the representation of what they would do if they don’t have any responsibility. It also shows that even in another life, though they are unconscious, they will still love each other. I’m not a fan of happy ending, even though Bai jue didn’t appear in the end, I’ll still be glad that qingmu and houchi had a chance.
