Gonna he honest here, the way she said the whole "what do u mean tough? They signed up for this" felt so fucking disrespectful.
Just because I signed up for something doesn't mean it's easy. She herself knows how tough musicals are, if it isn't tough, why doesn't she do it?

Doubt that she’s saying it’s easy lmao. When people say that it means that it’s expected to be tough and they signed up knowing that it’s gonna be tough, so there’s no reason to complain.
Cuz they r the 1 who signed up to do it. Not like they r being forced, so they should have bear with it even tho it tough. It seems like they signed up cuz they thought it's easy. That's why she said it like that. The director work is much tougher than others cuz she need to conduct all the performances with only seconds of rest. So, she has the right to say that.
Have you ever seen how idols go through training? It's not easy, they train you to become perfect in singing and dancing, because everyone expects them to be perfect on stage. Same with musicals like these, one mistake will ruin the whole musical. Also a lot of pressure is on the director since she is the one in charge. The actors are trained for these types of musicals, if they weren't capable the director wouldn't have chose this musical.

If you really working for musicals for your life, you supposed not to have that kind of weak mentality.
This is exactly musical/broadway enviroment in rehearsal process.
If you have that kind of mindset it’s better to change job tbh.
