Brings back memories of me and my three siblings fighting over the box of cereal for the prize, which usually ended up getting ruined after an hour or so, life was wonderful back then even if we were poor we didn't know it! Lol!
When I was little my grandma ordered off the back of cereal for little plastic miniature Disney characters and I still have them I love them I like cherish all that stuff
Ok checked Worthpoint all 37 pages...there's panels on there but they are the front... .... Omg there's boxes on there that went for 200.00 and up. Soooo you may very well have something unique and worth some money.....Since you have a back panel with the items collected there are many collectors that may not know those even existed!!
A fun Haul, I love how excited you get over your treasures! People who do not thrift, have no idea how excited we get, when we find great treasures! I have literally done this for 50+ years, because we did not have a lot of money, and my dear mom, always bought cool antiques for our home! Our house was awesome, in the fact that she fixed up all the old oak, and pine items, made curtains, stained glass windows, quilts, and a ton of other stuff-I always love the look of the old stuff, and my entire house is vintage-including the house! LOVE YOUR VIDEOS-Take care, Be safe, and keep thrifting!
I love old advertising but I can definitely say I do like the die cuts and I do love the old children's books with the great graphic so those are my favorite
Keep up the good work. You are such an interesting person. I always look forward to seeing you every day, and I looking at paper differently now. Bless. Aileen ❤️🏴
Your t shirt is really great with the moose rowing the canoe. How appropriate for you to wear in you video. Happy belated Leon day. Leon=Noel. Half way from Christmas and halfway to Christmas.
Renee, Fun finds today! For me, one of the best parts of your cereal box panel finds is the someone in the past had the idea to cut them out and save them...for what? For you to find them and treasure them! I mean, who looks at a cereal box now and says, somebody may want that someday...I think I'll keep it? Thank you, whomever you were!
Oh my gosh! Those old Vintage scrapbooks at the beginning, I would buy for sure! And especially, that LEDGER book! They sell for a lot when they are that old and filled with beautiful writing. Totally love your picks!
I found some of my kids scout badges in a drawer so I have sewed them onto a favorite jacket of mine. Somewhere there are uniforms with the ones I sewed on then. If I find them, they too will go on my jacket which i will wear and keep forever.
There was some awesome stuff at that flea! 3 thoughts on today's video: 1. About a year ago I found one of those scrapbooks FULL of those Victorian die cuts. The book was dated 1882. It is because of this channel that I really appreciate it for what it is. Thank you for opening my eyes. 2. Wouldn't it be cool if you found some kind of denim jacket and then patched the heck out of it with all kinds of vintage patches you found, or that your viewers sent you? Just a thought! 3. Doughnuts good! - Mark
The 2 little compo dolls looked like 2 of the Dion Quints dolls. Cereal premium stuff always good. List and let buyers bid away. I would have bought so much there. WOW. Good Show
Woodworking...a great hobby...I love to do models of machines...as well as items for my toy train layout. Love the so-called "Steam Punk" style of machines.
It was lovely to be up close to the boxes as you rummaged through, like looking over your shoulder. Also good to have some time doing that rather than a quick glance. and o to the next, it gave a real feel for the chance of coming upon treasure. Individual pages from that big ledger could be sold to crafters like Junk Journallers. Do you have a note book for all the T - shirt printing possibilities? In case someone says tomorrow they would like you to make up a t-shirt, I think it would be really useful to have ideas to back it up with. Loved today's vid. Hope the Nabisco search is successful.
On the cereal premiums just keep them until you find more info on them, a day in the future will reveal all your answers I'm sure! Bide your time, don't be in a rush.
That old drawing set brings back my professional memories as a draftsman. Like those toy trucks, though newer...they are nicely made...have a few with advertising themes...great for my Lionel layout.
Couldn't find the "mystery jets" on Worthpoint, but the "Sky King" aircraft Rice Honeys premiums (from the 1950s) were selling ~ $40 to $70 each (earlier than what you have, but also without the packaging that you have).
You got some great pieces! I really love those wood patterns. They are in such great condition. Those cereal boxes are unusual too, especially as you have the bits that go with them. I'd love to know what you find out about them, that would be really interesting. Love your flea market. I'd love to go rummaging around there for sure! x
Oh Gosh, so many boxes! today's video was delightful, thank you! Watching again in the lower speed, so I can see in more detail...Trying to satisfy the eye at least. 😁
Your woodworking patterns reminded me of a sister-in-law that used to make some fantastic whirligigs and more:) She was awesome! She could take a piece of wood and make something that looked like it came from a factory!!
@@PaperandMoose Yes you are correct. My ex--husband lost a finger when he used a saw making some items for our Cub Scout troop. You have to be very careful for sure!
Ay about 3:10 in the Video Renee... did you see the 4 Waterford Christmas ornament in the red boxes on the blanket? You didn't pick them up to look at them but maybe the Price the had on them was not a good deal. Certain ones are worth serious money. About your patterns (like the cat ) you can make a stencil from even a small picture. Just use the copy machine and increase it by 75% or 100% maybe. Just blow it up to whatever size. I have made numerous garden decor and other things doing that and then cut the pieces out of wood with a scroll saw. Scrolls saws are VERY easy to use and saws are fairly inexpensive. (Just google scroll saw on TH-cam for videos ) Like using a sewing machine except you cut on the lines of the pattern when traced onto wood.
Well that was a great flea market for ephemera! 👍😁🌟 I know people collect the premiums from cereal boxes from all time periods. And they likely want the cereal boxes as well to go with the premiums. And even just the part of the box that shows what the series of premiums is would be valuable. Collectors want everything that relates to whatever it is they collect. 😁🌻
At 5:05 I thought someone was next to you using the tip of an umbrella to sort through paper. I thought "how rude" then I realized it was the ties to your sweatshirt.
Ok, the cowboy pants are called chaps! And those pattern for wood, you could try making one or two like the black cat you loved out of foam core or poster board! And then you could decorate the windows or walls with the! Lots less mess, no sawdust! It was just a thought thAt popped up as I was watching!
Hello Renee, I am a new sub, and I was watching you and I was watching your videos when I got the notification you were on YAAA!!, I love all the vintage Christmas ornaments you have found:) and the Halloween items too. As well as Old News Paper, thanks for sharing:)

I absolutely love going to the flea markets with you and seeing what you get the only thing that would make it perfect is if you would tell us how much you paid foe each item or even the total 😉
Renee I bet they are worth some decent money because, if people are paying bookoo bucks for the cereal boxes I'm sure they want those premiums to go with the boxes
Some 80s and 70s cereal boxes go for nutty money, especially if they no longer make that particular flavor of cereal. What just the cereal backs would do... no idea.
Renee, what cool scrap books geezer what fun? Do you keep those or sell them? You must have a great collection of stuff. Enjoy your haul. Some little boy might like it for halloween.🤔✌🥰♥️🌻🦋🌊🌴
What fun finds! I loved the little cowboy vest and chaps. I was thinking they might fit your young cousin you’ve mentioned a time or two. Do kids still dress up like cowboys/girls for Halloween?🎃
a polite request- would love to see you do a video on how you sell paper ephemera. How you determine pricing since much of it is rare or unique on the market. Yes, “chaps” is derived from the word chaparral (pronounced shaparral), which is a combination of different types of stiff and rough brush found in the West, particularly California.
