This was the song that I discovered Sad Sam Blues Jam. Love it. And it was so great to discover all the other fine Blues music put out by Sadie, Samantha, and Krista. Wish I could have seen them play. They make me happy.
Samantha is the best bass player ever. Sadie is the best blues singer ever. And Krista and Sadie are killing it on guitar with such different styles. It amazes me how these girls have so much blues in their blood at such a young age. You all are absolutely incredible. Keep up the good work kickin' the blues!! Love the sax too!
GOOD JOB MISS"S FROM THIS INTEPRETATION BLACK CAT BONE :SAM FISH RESPECT, VERY GOOD REMAKE WITH YOUNGS TOUCHS ....THANKS JACKYFAN 👍THE TRUE. I BELIEVE THE SECOND GUITARS IS NAME KRISTA? SO MUCH TALENT RYTHMIC ! AND SOLOS.
For me is this - the best harmonic playing blues band of the world !!!!! it`s my reel!!!! il never hear it so perfekt!!! i hope They are together. it`s best!!!!!
I just saw these lady's after gettin out of surgery. And if the fuckin doctors would have let me.I would and tried to get up and boogie. You ladies are great!!
Terrific band. Love that blues is having a continuation by younger artistes, strange thing is that they are mainly female...this is great since they show so much skill and intensity. I was first turned onto this a few years ago by Samantha Fish, which led me onto the whole Blues Caravan scene. At same time I discovered Jane Lee Hooker, Dana Fuchs, Laura Zoe and many more. Recently, the Irish busking scene have produced artistes like Allie Sherlock and others. This band are really accomplished musicians and is a credit to their dedication of learning their craft. They've put their time in. No instant X Factor factory production line of the bland and talentless, who are mere merchandise money spinners for Simon Cowell to be discarded when no longer useful. Artistes like this band will always find their way in music, and their longevity is more assured than Cowell's lot. Well done ladies, brilliant performance. One minor gripe is to the camera man, include footage of the bass player more. They rarely get the coverage as the others and they are integral to the band, the powerhouse beat upon whom they others rely.
VERY much impressed with these young gifted ladies, love it. Sadie is awsome and really touches me, playing from her heart, her voice will flourish as she grows :)
Great music for listening while doing other things on the computer ... the truest beauty is in the sounds they make ... not too heavy and never boring ...
There is soem magic effect on how some versions seem to sound better than the original. Samantha´s bass add´s some contemporary sound that makes the whole song reborn as something brand new!
I love this, you girls are bad A**. I know guys that have played for 40 years and aren't as good as Krista, she truly blows my mind. And Sam on Bass...... Fantastic!!! I would love to Jam/Play with you sometime.
How do you dislike this??? That kind of person kicks puppies,,, The funky bass line and tight band is worth the price of admission! Great young players!! Where are Y'all from? I swear I hear a little Texas blues in there,,,
Samantha fish did not come up with this version of black cat bone, Matt Scofield did. The earliest version I have found Samantha do was in 2005, Matts first album which has this arrangement on it came out in 2004. Give credit in the right places.
alex hidell if you could read, then you would see I said "this version" I know it was written by Albert Collins, but this version/arrangement was devised by Matt. Read things properly before you reply, and they don't play it right, its very flat, dull and lifeless playing.
T Julian-Jones I guess we look at things differently. Each musician would have his/her own "version" of any given song, and no two "versions" would be exactly the same. You dig the blues your way and I will do it my way. These gals have all they need as far as I am concerned and yes, I saw Albert Collins perform his own "version." I feel that my reading comprehension is up to snuff or I would have never been given my English degree.
Doug Duley Not sure what you are driving at. Albert Collins is quite famous for doing this song. Are you saying that had they heard the Albert Collins "version" they might not have fallen (not "feel") in love with it? A song is a song. You hear it and you like it or perhaps you don't. At any rate, they do the song differently than both Samantha Fish and Albert Collins, thus making your point (whatever that may be) very unclear to me. ( I assume you are addressing me.)
Sadies voice is gold !!!!
This band is MAJOR talent. There is hope in the younger generation!
This was the song that I discovered Sad Sam Blues Jam. Love it. And it was so great to discover all the other fine Blues music put out by Sadie, Samantha, and Krista. Wish I could have seen them play. They make me happy.
Like young fledgling birds taking early flight.
That dark haired one on the rigjt has Strong hands! Took me 20 years to bend notes like that.
Samantha is the best bass player ever. Sadie is the best blues singer ever. And Krista and Sadie are killing it on guitar with such different styles. no love for drummer
I guess not, There is no mention of a drummer in the description of the video.
He is a perfect drummer!!!
What is his name?
His name is Kip Harris.
Kudos to their parents for supporting them and facilitating this activity. They deserve a lot of credit and thanks.
+Douglas Gillies Completely Agree

Elles sont bien, les fifilles, en particulier la bassiste: ça ronronne solide. Le son de caisse claire est topissime. braaaaavo!

How do you dislike this??? That kind of person kicks puppies,,, The funky bass line and tight band is worth the price of admission! Great young players!! Where are Y'all from? I swear I hear a little Texas blues

Delicioso tema. Me gusta como toca Sadie, igual que Kristie.

I love your music
Welcome in Nantes France les RDV de l'erdre Festival. Wen you want.
Samantha fish did not come up with this version of black cat bone, Matt Scofield did. The earliest version I have found Samantha do was in 2005, Matts first album which has this arrangement on it came out in 2004. Give credit in the right places.
This is an old blues track that has been around for decades. Albert Collins made it his signature song for many years. These ladies do it RIGHT!

they did give credit where credit was due... she stated they heard Samantha Fish do this version of the song and they feel in love with it.

Ye Gads!
Amazing ! Just tackle the singing with the same attack as you do to the guitar - then we're all in trouble !!
I can only find MP3 downloads of them on Amazon. Where can I lay my hands on a cd? These girls are good!
good
Siempre me intrigua la gente que pone no me gusta cuando la música es muy buena
Is there guitar TAB's somewhere for this song
2:02 voodoo child :D great :)
~!~ TASTY Chops ~!~
Shame that real talent gets no attention anymore!
Krista me crispa

Leave it alone--there's no comparison.
thanks we agree
But the version of these girls is more tender
agreed
An amazing talent, but whatever made her go blonde? Like she wasn't drop-dead gorgeous as a brunette? Yeah, I may be a pig, but c'mon, Sadie!
sadie she believes the harder she trys yes jamie tulsa ok
I sure hope they are not raising a bunch of snotty nose brats up now...
Sorry but that rhythm was all over the place. Overall, pretty good though.
