- In my Christmas special I mentioned that my SD card deleted some footage, that actually included some Skyrim gameplay of me just looking at a few modded houses/ villages and I absolutely fell in love with the Milandriel - A small piece of Valenwood in Skyrim mod and just knew I had to record some backgrounds for future roleplays. So here's the first one :D It's not specifically Skyrim themed but I made it loose enough for you to pretend it actually is set in Skyrim ^^

Well, in that case you might as well help me with some market research 📝
What criteria does an asmr roleplay video have to meet for you to watch it multiple times, and for it to maybe even become a comfort video that you return to regularly?
For me for instance it's mainly about three things:
First, the setting. I feel the most comfortable when we as the viewer are in a safe space and the roleplay is set in a fantasy world. I don't care much about the actual look of the background, but more about how the asmrtist describes the world the viewer is in.
Number 2: The viewer's relationship with the character in the rp. I've realized I feel very at ease when it's implied that the asmrtist's character has known the viewer for a long time. So they're either friends or family.
Number 3: The triggers. In order for me to not get distracted by my own thoughts, I need ideally 2-4 triggers that the video focuses on. Otherwise I get really impatient for some reason 😅

Never wondered before
I think I need a good balance in the information given to me. For instance, it must be enough for my brain to participate and immerse itself in this false reality. However, if too much happens, too much new pieces of information are given to me then it will be overwhelming and I will watch it only once in a while.
Things like character background are complicated like that because they add a very nice value but can also add too much info.
Then the triggers are important as well, you say you need 2-4 and I agree in that sense ; not too many but still a variety
(And yeah I scrolled immediatly in the comments because it's not everytime you can click ona video 2Seconds after it releases... :x)
Personally, I need at something that's not complicated. I love intricate stories, but if I'm trying to sleep, too much story will make me stay awake. Triggers I enjoy and can't find anywhere else are also appreciated. An example of a comfort video of yours for me is the ancient Rome trader. I have yet to find wood scratching done the way you do it in that video, and the story itself isn't too complicated, but interesting enough to focus on.
The setting and atmosphere, definetly. I like sci-fi and fantasy, I want something out of this world. Including the viewer, and talking directly to them is better than just reading a story. I also like when it goes back and forth between triggers and talking segments. So safe to say, I like your channel a lot ;)
i just want to say that i like all your video concepts, but i find worried sorceress check your senses my comfort video that I keep coming back to. i love to see good setting, but i like more the story you speak, and so on. I like when I listen more triggers in the video(5 maybe,even more if it's possible)I love the way you talk in videos. i would like to watch some kind of closed eyes for whole video💞love your content ❤️byee

I think its the widely spaced eyes, her high yet narrow cheekbones, and delicate facial features. It all works together to create a very ethereal, elvin look. Very cool.

Man, the atmosphere here is on point. Absolutely nailed the look. The face markings are really interesting and really help turn her into an elf instead of a human with funny ears.
I often listen to ASMR when recovering from sickness in bed, so a new healing RP is a welcome discovery.

What’s drawing me back to your videos is the interaction between the character and the viewer. You have an amazing way of drawing the viewer into the scene. The ASMR is wasted on me (I don’t get tingles) but I understand others enjoy it. Whatever it is, I am drawn back over and over, even though I don’t play any of the games your characters are pulled from.

I like something that has a background sound that's not too loud. The speaker with a calming and steady voice. Triggers that aren't harsh and jarring. Hope this helps. I think this video does hit those points.
