We Built This City - Starship: Epcot Apr 27 2024

Stumbled upon Starship while we were at Epcot Saturday. Wow! What an amazing 5 song set, so good, I went back and saw a 2nd 5 song set with 3 different songs. I was blown away by the quality of the vocals from 74 yr old Mickey Thomas. I see quite a few concerts, and this was top notch, the entire band was wonderful. I found out Starship has played at Epcot 22 years in a row. Simply amazing. I also have another video up of Jane.

I'm not sure, but she's a solid singer. While she may not be Grace Slick, she's damn good. Easy on the eyes, too.
I didn't even know that Jefferson Starship was still a band. Cool. 👍

The original female singer is Grace Slick, who is now 84 years old. She was the last holdover from the original Jefferson Airplane and was at least 10 years older than the rest of the band when she was pushed out in 1988. She then retired from music and took up painting.
