I made this cake and it came out great. I added in 2 T of liqueur to the batter at the end as you suggested before folding in the whipped whites. I like the mathematical symmetry of the ingredients. You asked for recipe recommendations and I would love to see pasticciotti. I have found recipes on the web, but have not found many authentic demonstrations of how to make it. I am also wondering if pasticciotti can be made in a miniature muffin pan. Thank you for the demonstration of the torta!
Emiko, I just discovered your video on "torta Caprese" and I love it, I live in Canada .. can you tell me the brand name of the handy food processor you are using it appears to be very practical (fast and does not take much room)
The cake does look great and I would enjoy eating it and may try making it. Your helpers was so sweet and the second one really enjoyed the batter left over and wanted more ;-).
Do you have any tips for authentic carbonara...the ones in florence are the best to me...thanks...and ur torte turned out awesome...much love from Texas
i've made this at least ten times since. the latest one in the oven right now. i'm such a loser watching this during. it's 10pm. One thing i don't agree with Emiko here- it's as good straight out of the oven as it is the next day.
This was so enjoyable. A simple but decadent recipe make with the children. This was example of why mothers day is celebrated.🌷
The best part of the recipe are the children. So much loveeeee!

This is such a pure and sweet video;;; It really made me want to try baking the cake too
I loved watching this. Reminds me of my daughter and me in the kitchen. I had her in the kitchen at 3 beating eggs. 😋
That cake looks amazing. I love chocolate and gluten free. Also ... your children are just gorgeous. Lovely video.
What a treat, I feel like I was visiting a sweet friend. Love your kitchen and the babies are lovely!
Fantastic! I love your cookbook!

What are blanched almonds? Are they boiled almonds?
Luna has cheeks you want to pinch for ever! 🥰
Did I miss something when did she show how to put this batter together ? Or was this video all about the cute children. I’m puzzled.
But when do you add the tomatoes and the mozzarella?

Your daughter is beautiful
Mariu needs a hand washing class
Hopefully an adult saw the daughter chew the spat before it is used. Think not.
I promise--its getting cooked and will be cootie free
