Yeah I was thinking at one stage that they could of pitted him with ten laps to go and could of put soft tyres on and seen what could of happened because in the end he might of at least finished higher than what he did
The team letting down oscar as usual. Obviously they didnt pitt him as they were worried he would pass golden boy on newer tyres. McLaren are not maximising team points. Anyone notice how piastri consistently has slower pitt stops. Lando could have kept him in drs when russell was trying to pass and choose not to. Lando isnt a team player which is disappointing as oscar could have passed norris on a few occasions but restrained himself. I think oscar needs to realise that nice guys finish last especially against a selfish team mate. Norris was lucky to get 2nd, if lewis and russell didnt bottle it he should have finished 4th.
McLaren not pitting their drivers like Mercedes did under the last safety car was a huge mistake given a couple of more laps and they would have passed Norris too
I think his race pace is concerning, he is not making the step I expected. Either norris is a elite all time great or piastri isn't too drawer, but just below that

WTH didn't he pit when the merc drivers did under last SC. He had 30 seconds to Alonso and fresh tyres had such an advantage!
