Thankful that Gayle King wasn't part of the discussion. No interest in hearing her views on the Royal Family and the discussion turning back to Harry & Meghan. H&M are irrelevant to the Monarchy which has now been hit hard with Charles and Catherine's cancer diagnosis. Catherine displayed incredible poise and grace in her video and is much admired and loved throughout the world. Reminds you of Queen Elizabeth II.

That’s incorrect, Tina Brown. Catherine & William intended to make this public, but needed time to process it & tell their children. They timed this to coincide with the children’s Easter holiday, so that they won’t be asked questions in the playground.

@@CourageUnderFire87 The King has an important constitutional position as head of state so we need to know what is going to happen during a monarch's illness. Catherine doesn't have that sort of position but she does have a very young family and they are, unsurprisingly, her first priority and she and William had to find the best way to tell them. And yes, sadly, huge numbers of people have had cancer and they've all been given the opportunity to come to terms with what that means for them and their families without the world going doolally demanding to know their personal issues. She is entitled to the same opportunity.

I believe that The Prince & Princess of Wales needed to take the surgery then the diagnosis in for themselves first, people should remember and respect that. IMO, Easter break was coming up and they could concentrate on telling their Children before it hit the media. They both were being responsible Parents.

The Princess of Wales did not have to disclose her personal health information upon public demand. Having to tell the world about the cancer diagnosis before they even had time to take it in and share it with their children is an unreasonable request. They should have been given the privacy the Palace had requested in their initial statement. Make no mistake the Princess of Wales was bullied into making this statement and did so with dignity and grace.

Even now there are people on line saying that her statement was AI generated and that the statement couldn't be true because she was sitting outside and there was a background of daffodils and blossom (apparently totally unbelievable in the UK in late March) or that even if she does have cancer she should have said something earlier. The inability of people to only consider issues from their own limited viewpoints and not consider what it means to the Wales's as individuals and as a family is breathtaking.

That's already been refuted by the BBC.
Kate’s announcement video is definitely a deep-fake. Some anomalies reported.
1. Her thumbnail is showing on the reverse side. So the nail is showing on the opposite side of her thumb. During the video she moves her hands and you can clearly see this. Video has to be slowed down to see this tho.
2. The stripes on her sweater are casting a shadow in the video.
3. Nothing moves in the background.
4. Her mole appears then disappears during the video. (Some say they never saw her mole at all.
5. At some point in the video, her brow ridge melds into her hair for a millisecond.
6. Something about the two sides of her face seem misaligned. It's like the right side is pulling downward slightly even.
7. The number of times that she is blinking is not humanly possible based on human biology. Someone pointed out the number of times she blinks in the video and then how many times humans blink per second.
8. A sound engineer pointed out that it is not technically possible to have the level of sound she has in the video without a boom microphone which is normally used. He indicated that he believes the vocals were taped and overlaid in the video.
9. Another tweeter indicated that the vocals don't match the mouth movement. it's not in sync in other words.
10. Someone pointed out something with the slats in the bench not being aligned the same on both sides of her. What shows between the slats is not consistent with what is on the each side.
11. The video shows spaces between her teeth. If you look at other recent videos, Kate doesn't have spaces like that between her teeth.
12. An a.i. expert who creates videos and said though it is a good fake he immediately noticed a glitch with her eyes. While the quick blinking happens, her eye pops out and changes colors even.
Also, one of the a.i. experts I read, indicated that it is very difficult for ai to get the hands perfect. This is a common feature in a.i. videos that something is not right in the hands. Super unnatural blinking is another telltale sign evidently.
So here's what i think. People don't go to these lengths unless to cover something.
*** I should mention that there is video evidence to back up these claims that these ai experts, tiktokers, tweeters did.

Kate is NOT the first, only or last person to be diagnosed with cancer! She’s wealthy and has access to many resources and good top notch doctors! People really need to stop making her out to be some sort of saint or Demi god! My heart goes out to those who are diagnosed with cancer who aren’t as privileged as Kate and are struggling with their diagnosis along with the lack of finances!!! Cancer is not bothered who you are.
Cancer is just damaged cells that grow out of control. We all have damaged cells in our body. It's not something you contract. It is something where either your immune system and autophagy take them out or they don't. If they don't then they can stay dormant or can start growing out of control, including forming lumps/tumors. That's why we each need to do the best we can to strengthen our immune and other systems and avoid undo chronic stress, chronic inflammation, chronic intake of harmful substances, etc. Even with heredity, that does not determine our battle with it. Our individual choices and health will determine our health battles.
