Thats just how vocal synths have developed over the years! SynthV is especially known for being realistic. So realistic in-fact that some people don't like it because they prefer the robotic twang of other platforms (you can still tune them robotically if you want though, so I think its very versatile). But even Vocaloids (especially the newest ones) can sound as realistic as this, just with a bit more work. There's also AI tuning to make it easier to make things sound realistic, though while that does make things sound realistic, it doesn't make the vocals sound expressive or anything, you still need to tune expressiveness and emotion yourself. Its also used to help make voicebanks sing in other languages more seamlessly (like making an ENG VB sing in Japanese or vice-versa)! Though I think this is currently only a feature in Vocaloid 6 and SynthV, though I could be wrong (also iirc, Vocaloid only supports English and Japanese, and SynthV only supports English, Japanese, and Chinese and also I think Spanish).
After seeing this cover for several times and have already download the audio track for this (I kept spamming it at my speakers, hoping that anyone in my household and our neighborhood can appreciate this work of art and also pranking at them if whether they didn't know it wasn't two real person and not AIs as they heard the vocals, and lol they didn't understand Japanese(side note: me as well but moving on) 'cause duh I'm in a countryside in the Philippines but regardless I really like this)for more likely of 6-7 months ago.... I can finally reply... Huh, I see that slowly but surely this cover will bloom into a fully grown beautiful flower indeed...✨ Also, the tunings and the overall vocals, all of you guys are right👍(screaming at the ship as I'm lying at the floor dead when I first heard it😲) Also anyone notice a canine teeth there on Kevin, a bit cute tbh✨✨✨
