My uncle came from a family of funeral directors and during WWII wood rationing meant all the coffins were built with cheap shitty wood. This happened at one funeral at a church with a really big staircase in the front and he said the body dropped and slid down those stairs like a toboggan. The family was rightly horrified but he said it was some of the morbidly funniest shit he’d ever seen

Filming all of those coffin drop scenes with a decent budget plus his manic acting really sells this, it's hilarious. High quality comedy like this is rare nowadays.

My friend recently passed and I know he would’ve been cracking up to see this happen to him in front of all of us at his burial, when I saw this I had a good smile going. It’s like we honored and respected the family, but we were always such goofs together when things were serious. I’d like to think Tim maybe something similar in mind when he made this. I hope there’s some others out there who felt this way too.

Filming all of those coffin drop scenes with a decent budget plus his manic acting really sells this, it's hilarious. High quality comedy like this is rare nowadays.
