The only one that does the work without simply talking about it.
Thank you for the insight inside the engine. I have been facing similar noise which has been driving me crazy. I'll have SVC check the push rods and report back if that fix the issue.
The nightmare of any RE user .good information bro👌👌

Superb bro.... where are you ? This is the first time i see a solution for tappet noice .
Thank you so much for your appreciation brother. I am located at Trivandrum. Basically tappet noise arises because of a lot of reasons. Accordingly solution varies. This particular problem aonly is being addressed in this video.

I have a 4,000 k 2020 500 engine and am not happy with the quality of the Enfield build parts used. I have the same ticking noise and am thinking I'll have to trailer it 300 k's to the Enfield dealer for the repairs.
nice vid, thanks man!
Thank you so much!!!!
would tappet noise come in the new classic 350 reborn
In the classic 350 reborn, there are no hydraulic tappets.. the valve actuation is through timing chain mechanism.. so, if at all the tic tic noise comes, it would not definitely because of the tappets, but probably due to the timing chain or any other components
@@TwoWheelerStoriesbyswathysk thanks bro...

Is it ok to fully tight rocker box?
Yes it is.. may be some minor adjustments could be made after starting the engine (if at all for ensuring proper oil flow). But strictly mibro adjustments!! Because there are chances that the threads of the rocker bolts or the head may get damaged because of the valve spring loading if the bolts are loose while the engine is in operation
Good one!!! 👍🏽

how much did it all cost
Your location bro
Hi @Two Wheeler Stories, thanks for the video. How do you distinguish between tappet noise and cam noise? Do you provide any service to fix similar issue in BLR?
Thank you so much for the appreciation brother. Popularly that noise, despite of the reason, is called as tappet noise. Cam backlash is just a reason for that noise, out of so many reasons!! Actually I am not working in bangalore. Currently I'm based at trivandrum, I had been there for 6 years till 2020 😃😃👍
@@TwoWheelerStoriesbyswathysk Thanks for your response. Can you pls share your contact number or email?

super....vere level
Thanks da 😘
Would this last long before it would make noise again?
Definitely it will come again brother, but the question is how long it takes for it to make that noise again. Tappet noise comes because of wear out of various components in the valve train. We have to check and replace each worn out component seperately. If we change every component of valve train, sound will take time to come or else depending on the degree of wear out the time varies. 😊 Unfortunately in this method of valve actuation tappet noise is in evitable. We can reduce it maximum but upon usage it will come slowly.
Hi Bro pls suggest in Bangalore ,where this kind of engine work will done, since u have worked in BLR.
There are a lot of garages in Bangalore shere this kinda work is being done bro. Khasim bullets, Art of motorcycles, motocafe etc..
So sorry about the late reply
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
👍🏻
Facing the same issue with my classic 500,could you please let me know how much it costs to rectify this not at the RE service center but at the 3rd party mechanic, coz RE Service centers have done a very bad job of servicing my bike all this while, atleast in my hometown.
Hello borther, so sad to hear that. The noise happens because of various reasons. It is required to check thoroughly and identify the reason, only then will be able to help you with the coasting. Otherwise It will simply be a wild guess which will lead you again back to confusion.
Address....???
But I still hear the same noise. even after you fix it.
Sorry bro did I fix your motorcycle by myself?
What about hydraulics bro
Major things that's needs to be replaced
Ya hydraulics are one among the issue generating components, but in this case they were not about to be changed 😁👍👍
