I've been waiting for this feature for years. This is really something that Sheets should have had 10 years ago. Maybe someday Dropdowns will support Customer Formulas

Thank you, Matt. I’ve been waiting for that update since Google announced it. You reminded me to check again, and I saw that it’s finally here.

Yeah, Mobile isn't updated yet unfortunately. Not sure if/when it will be. I was hoping it would when the full roll out would happen. I did find that if you add a ", " (comma space) between answers, you can get it to select the two, but kind of an annoying workaround.

I don't have this as an option. 😢
    Any tips?

Sorry to hear that! The Google blog says September 5th is the scheduled release date for workspace. Not sure if you are using a workspace account or personal? Hopefully it’ll show up for you this week sometime!
Only other things I can think of to try is another browser / Chrome or if you are using mobile that doesn’t support it as of now. For browsers, I know Firefox had issues with the new table feature so if you happen to be using Firefox then potentially could be the issue? Chrome should be the one that would work with it, so if you’re using that I think you just have to wait a bit unfortunately to see if/when the option is available to you.
