- Where do I even start with this cover?
This has got to be THE MOST REQUESTED song I've ever had.
And I neglected it.
You bet your HMMMH I did.
I'm not going to lie, when I first heard this song, all I could think was "They can't be serious."
But enough of you pushed me to do it.
What ended up happening is I actually watched the show and it was wicked!
It made me understand the song better - Understand how it works as not just an intro, but as a song as a whole.
It's definitely a party with all the crazy changes and the interesting grooves.
It didn't take me long to learn, believe it or not.
Some parts were a bit hard to figure out exactly what the drummer was doing, hidden under all the mix but let me tell you right now, that ride part in the first verse got me good. Real good.
The 2nd half of the song was surprisingly easy to figure out - A lot of the parts fit right in with my style so they weren't hard to pull off, the hardest parts were all at the beginning.
I'm also happy to say that for once, all 10 cameras recorded which is a miracle of its own!
All and all, the song ended up growing on me!
And I'm really glad it did because this was a blast to do!
Hopefully I did it the justice you were all hoping for!

This is the best drummer i have ever seen. He is having fun in what he is doing. You deserve some respect.

Jonathan Moffet, he was the drummer of Michael Jackson, and holy shit this dude has an insane timing on the beats it's insane. He hits every fucking beat perfect. I mean Kin is definitely a really good drummer and he has some really good stamina. But Jonathan "Sugarfoot" Moffet is the best one I know
I'd like to argue that while Sugarfoot is an animal of its own kind, I find that Neil Peart was an animal of a different world.
A perfectionist and innovator until his last days.
If there was one person I would have given everything to meet in person and learn from as a drummer- That would be the man.

Whether it's a song that I know or a song that I don't, when you start playing those drums, a smile starts to build on my face and stays there for the entire video. I don't know anything about drum playing, but watching you play is a great pleasure and I get to discover some good songs and anime along the way
