@@coltsgolf I can't wait! Maybe one day, once I have kids, I can bring them there. They can make new memories like the fond ones I have from that beautiful place.
PLEASE post part 2!!! I'd LOVE to explore this place but I figured it wasn't possible with all the activity there. You're brave, crazy, and lucky, lol. But seriously, pleeeeeease part 2?? :) :)
Jenn Tetreault I will. :) Glad to see someone wants to see the rest lol We got confronted st the end but I don't regret anything. :) I will reply again when I finish the second video! :)
YAY!! I love urban decay photography and the Balsams has long been one I've obsessed over. I just can't do it where I know I'd get caught, so I love that you're posting video so I can live vicariously :D
Well, I went from a giggle at seeing the Cote's storefront, to crying. The old girl is gone. I hope the new owners can resurrect something. So sad. The place had grandeur, and a sense of history.
Every time I passed by it I was quite sad that it was just sitting there, empty. I have never been inside when it was open but I saw pictures and video of it and it was amazing. The history behind the original building is amazing also. I knew when I laid eyes on it, I had to explore it, even with all the warning signs. lol It was short lived but I will never forget it, that's for sure! :)
@@lexgraham7353 its crazy what they did to this place presidents used to go stay there and some contractors decided lets gut the building and file bankruptcy halfway through the job
I'm going to call BS on the interior shots....I see a number of items that appear to be ready for the Auction that was held shortly after the Hotel closed. I think the exterior shots are from 2016 and the interior shots from several years earlier...Your reply, Lex Graham?
I use to work there and loved the place and wished they would re-open it but the longer it sits there vacant the less chance there is of that happening.
Where is part 2?! So crazy to think I walked around in those halls and stayed there as a kid and now it looks like that. I hope they bring it back.
There trying to!

I have that yearbook 😭
So sad that no one took care of the grande, historic resort and it’s just rotting away 😭
Lexine, thanks for the video. The Balsams seems to be both a romance from the past and a hopeful futute.
A disgrace.
