I'm a wash n go girl, and prefer to use mousse over gel (actually I think the almost 3 years I've been natural I only used a gel like 3 times 🤣). The trick with the mousse wash and go is to use light weight leave in and not a lot of it under the mousse or it won't work. The best mouse wash n go I ever did was using no leave in (although I was scared to DEATH with my type 4 hair 🤣). They don't last long, so you have to do refresh mid-week. Your hair came out lovely, so I'm going to keep an eye out for the mousse. I'm currently using Doux which is amazing...better than the design essential almond line I was using for the first 1.5 years...but still not winter time friendly. How was the moisture of your hair throughout the wear during this cold month?

I have thick, high density, color treated curls and coils, and mousses have been my go to cause they dry quick and application is easy. Haha that’s exactly why I do twist outs all the time but the good thing about a wash and go failing is it makes a great puff lol gotta step out of our comfort zone every now and then

@@CurlsofaCPA Im excited! I want to get back on the mousse life. My hair is very dense , and i find mousse defined my hair fast but still the hold is something I have to figure out. Recently chopped off some heat damaged ends so hopefully things get better!
@@friedchicken892 yeah mixing a bunch of stuff is always a gamble. I love styling on fresh ends so hope that its better for you now that you got rid of your heat damage
Have you ever used texture id foam? Once you said creamy foam I thought of that. I might just give this a try. What kind of hold does it have? I'm not sure I caught that if you mentioned it.
I’ve used the texture ID foam but not by itself. I used it with gel and the application was good but my results were ok (like I said I’m not a pro 😂) but the hold on the treluxe foam is between medium and strong (like it’s strong but my hair doesn’t feel hard or dry)
