Fiona, when you are lucid you are aware you are dreaming and can control what is happening or at least know that it is just a dream. So when you get to that state you can shift into whatever you want to do. You can fly or create or communicate with anyone. It is important to lucid dream because this is necessary when we cross over to the other side in order to not become stuck in a hellish reality. Lucid dreaming is the key to everything. We need to be LUCID every moment because that is being fully conscious and fully relaxed in the truth that we are the designers of our reality or at least in control of our state of BEING regardless of what we are experiencing. I hope that is helpful. If you are exhausted it is because your psyche was not fully lucid and engaged in the illusion allowing it to draw energy from you. Love you so much!
Not everyone has it that way. I can't control my lucid dreams much. I'm only aware I'm in a dream but only very rarely I can influence the environment I'm in. Therefore sometimes it's like being in limbo where you just wait until you wake up or switch to a real dream. Only once I had a dream where I was flying through empty space imagining buildings and the country below and in front of me and it got conjured up as I was flying forward.
I really love lucid dreams. It's like an alternate state of being. They make me feel energized. As I get older, the really lucid ones are still there, but not as frequent. I feel sorry for those who do not experience lucid dreams.
yeh that's exactly what she's REALLY talking about... it's referenced all over this video... really sad :( I hope she finds a way to get really good professional help to try to feel better. I'm sure it's something unfortunately you don't ever really get rid of though no matter what you do.
I love what you said about ‘The Secret’ (I realize that this isn’t your personal TH-cam channel, but I am just referring to you because you shared it). I feel that one cannot successfully discard, bypass ones shadow side or unsealed trauma. It will always be there, waiting for you to see it, feel it and hear it. Until then, it runs the show, because it isn’t integrated with the rest of you. And I love this talk about Lucid dreaming. So cool. Our lucid dreaming takes place on the Astral Plane (aka the 4th dimension), it is where our thoughts instantaneously manifest. I love your creations Mizz Apple. :)
Just imagine living a life like your frustrating dreams, nearly every single day, and then having dreams of a perfect life. That's my world. I never want to wake up.
I’m loving seeing this side of you. Personally I don’t lucid dream, I have to force myself to do it. Only done it a couple of times. Favorite lyric: … He goes along just as a water lily Gentle on the surface of his thoughts his body floats Unweighted down by passion or intensity Yet unaware of the depth upon which he coasts
yeah the secret is bs. The problem with a lot of the new age dogma is that it makes you feel bad for having the 'wrong' thoughts. It's incredibly stupid and dangerous. If you ignore your true feelings and refuse to acknowledge your trauma, you're essentially gaslighting yourself and THAT will keep the good things you so badly want from coming your way. The core beliefs that you hold about yourself is what attracts your reality. Changing those beliefs is the hardest thing we'll ever have to do because they have been with us since early childhood and we are so identified with them. The key to manifesting the reality you want is to be super fucking honest with yourself, first and foremost. Then yeah, visualizing does work. But first you've got to acknowledge the pain that's in your heart. xx
sometimes you must go through the pain and get it out of the way so you can then grow tired of it and go on to something else, basically. That’s how I perceived this.
I never thought that happy thoughts gives you a happy life. I'm a laid back easy going positive person, but I've had so many insane negative drama filled people wreaking havoc in my live. Bad things don't happen to you if you have bad thoughts. Bad decisions and actions will create bad things in your life
Would love to talk lucid dreams directly with Fiona. Got many overlaps in dreams and formative experiences. I've learned lots through them though never tried to have them: they just happen. As I've aged, they've changed. Could be fascinating interview.
Fiona I love your music and understand exactly what you are saying. I was hurt early on and continuously too much for too long in my life. I thought that I had successfully repressed the negative life experiences; until that last lose everything event happened and, I was strong enough to keep them repressed ; until the past started suddenly to resolve itself in my dreams while Although I could direct them like flying , and understood I was in a dream, it was tiring. before that I used to go to sleep and wake up with nothing but rest between going to sleep and waking up rested.
I'm all here for Fiona's rant against the secret. Hahahahah. She's gets it. The vibration stuff is dead real, but it's all about your bodily state and whether or not your nervous system is regulated or dysregulated. Once it's regulated, you can trust your EMBODIED intuition. Nothing to do with cognition/thoughts. Lol ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It may be unusual, but I find lucid dreams refreshing in the sense that I could have a very short one, like twenty mins., and wake up feeling like I've slept a substantial amount of time.
Thank you for being real. I swear we are counterparts. There a these books that are so empowering the first one is “Seth Specks, The eternal validity of the soul” by Jane Roberts, I listen to them it’s easier for me as I am a little A.D.D. It has a lot of practical Exercise to get the most out of those lucid dreams and everything else. I sincerely thank you for your courageous translations off the soul, that is your music. Bless you.
It's real nice to see and hear you Fiona , communication and interaction is good for the soul. Keep up the good work ,you will find out if you haven't already when we share our thoughts and ideas with one another it helps free up our minds from negative feelings that don't serve any purpose s and those negative feelings always seem to cloud up and screw with our creative process and the love we feel for one another as brothers and sisters. Love and prayers always ~ jimi
I dream pretty much every night, and usually remember a good amount of detail. I know I'm dreaming but I don't usually have a ton of control. The dreams are always complicated and detailed. Sometimes they are about normal things, sometimes they are really weird and random. Never scary but often frustrating. There is usually some task or purpose that I'm trying to accomplish but I never seem to be able to get it done. I often wake up feeling exhausted, as if instead of sleeping for seven hours I've just been up all night watching an endless stream of movies. It's rare for me to have a night that I fall asleep and wake up feeling refreshed with no memory of any dreams.
I agree! You have a valid opinion, assumably gained from life experience! Or should I say lives experienced!? I know you get what I meant! Anyhow... I feel ya lady! You are spot on!
It is terrible at times. I had some crazy ones when I was a kid. I’ve had the ones where I was late for school. The one where your falling down a water fall and it’s in a forest and you wake up before you hit the bottom. I have trauma and OCD so that explains my crazy dreams. The dreams feel so real it’s scary and some of the dreams I have are fascinating like, the ones where you can taste and feel.
I love how the system has brainwashed people into thinking that we should believe others because of an education, looks, or class. I am not the most intelligent person or have the biggest vocabulary but when I hear bs, I know it's bs. I love everything about this lady. They try to get you to keep going through your trauma to heal. I agree with Fiona. You just have to let it go regardless of how hard it is. This system was built off of trauma and survives by it.
Losing one's teeth is a universal phenomenon in that every child goes through this when they lose their baby teeth. Therefore this experience is associated with maturing and changing. People often have 'losing teeth' dreams when they are going through changes. I had these dreams when I was transitioning to go to college.
You couldn't find denture cream, passport or a train? Damn girl. You had a rough night. Just getting one of those is enough. Your bar is high. Be kind to yourself. You are a gift. You are power. You are Fiona. You are loved by so many ❤
A fan and a lucid dreamer here! Obviously I don't actually know you, but from what I do know (think I know) you've been one of my biggest inspirations. I look to your work and your attitude about your work in my own. You've mentioned you value your privacy a lot, thank you for sharing this with TH-cam :) I wish you the best and I'm happy to see that it seems you're doing nicely :).
I rarely have lucid dreams, but I usually have two reactions. I make myself fly in my dream and have a great time, or im having a terrible dream, I realize its a dream and force myself to wake up. Forcing myself to wake up usually causes a temporary sleep paralysis for a few moments.
The secret is realizing we're all mutual enemies and friends, and can never truly reconcile despite our best efforts. It's a shame for our species. Love, obviously. Life is hard, but great sometimes. Love, for anything, is always great if not wise.
First the secret is to not believe anything about the secret. 2nd I think lucid dream's are like a porthole in your mind that you can see through. It allows you to see thing's in the past present and future. One thing that I know is that my mind isn't the property of Psychiatrist Psychologist or Neurologist. It belongs to me. And therefore I possess it everyday of my life. Not for just a 30 min or an hour session.
It’s nice to know that the idea that we create our own reality is nonsense, and is a distortion of the Fact that we create our responses to the Reality that is thrown at us continuously. Now THAT’s Real Power, and it’s no “secret”. By the way “The Secret” was Karma for for Jerry and Ester Hicks, and Boy, did they ever have it coming!
Fiona you're the best! HAPPY BIRTHDAY if you're into that. Love your honesty! The secret is mostly an infomercial and is pretty much total crap and completely distorts the real message actually. it's like a dealer selling a piano with 3 keys and saying "This is a real piano, here you go! Thanks for the cash!" Sorry for the lame piano reference lol. My analogies are usually always food based lol. I would recommend the Seth books by Jane Roberts, she was really something else but especially the Abraham Hicks material on TH-cam. A good quick read is the vortex by Esther Hicks. The philosophy of it is very well presented and will further show you how the secret was pure utter bulllshit.
I think Zoloft creates crazy dreams. My recurring dream: I’m late to high school, my hair is wet, no makeup, I have to park far away, walking takes awhile, when I get there it’s already 2nd period. I don’t know where my class is so I have to go to the office to get my schedule. The printer takes a long time to print. I have to find my locker. It’s at the opposite end of the school. I don’t know my combination. Once I get to my class I find out there’s a test that I’m not ready for. I don’t have the right book. I have to go back to my locket which is now either missing or broken and in the meantime, a xenomorph is chasing me. Ive been out of school for 14 years and I still have this dream everyone once and awhile. And fuck a duck, I bet you anything I’m going to have this dream tonight.
Enjoyed the review of the secret a lot. Also I jump horse also and I relate. I relive experience though to build immunity but i think im going to die before I get to live. Thank you apple of the worlds eye.
I didn’t exactly understand what lucid dreaming was until about a year ago. I’ve had a drinking problem for some time. So, when I go to sleep it’s usually alcohol induced. I fail to get that “good” sleep. On days off from work, I can linger in bed to try and find some good sleep which winds up being lucid dreaming. It can be unnerving.
I’ve had the weird dreams about teeth. This one I had was weird. A tooth came out but another grew in it’s place. Then in the dream I took a light and there was rows and rows of teeth, like a shark. I had this dream when I was 10 or 11 years old.
I have a lot of those same dreams. I have a recurring one that I'm late for a flight that I had no idea I had to be on, so I'm rushing to pack, can't find all of my stuff...then I get stuck in the airport..and when I call people it's busy signal, or the numbers don't work..or if I call 911 in my dream it is always busy. The teeth and hair falling out one's I have a lot.
Humans need to live in the real world like it is not how they dream it could be . Being real an looking at the world as it is will keep you sane .Papa has lucid dreams while I am awake , but mine are helping me. See the world better as it is so I can find the base line of the human condition to make sence of it all Papa$.
One of my lucid dreams involved something sitting on the side of my laughing at me saying "Ha Ha, you can't ever wake up when I'm here!" So scary, I couldn't turn over as hard as I was trying to see what was saying this to me!! And that is just one of them
I just had a very vivid dream the other night of my teeth falling out. I have had tooth-losing dreams for years, ever since I was a kid. My friend looked it up and told me it was due to insecurity of yourself/personal relationships/life situations etc. I mean its not inaccurate lol
I have interesting Lucid dreams. I believe that they come to us in an effort to digest in our heart and mind an event good or bad. Then another bad event happens, and we have not made sense of what happened with the First body mind heart normal resolutions of the 1st event then a second crisis hits and a third event happens before we are recover from the 1st event. then the 4th event comes and our body, mind heart knows that we have to resolve the negative events and make sense of it. However, We never fully resolve solve EDuring the day so we try to resolve it while we are sleeping.
They are risky territory indeed, once i dreamed of a train i needed to get on and i appeared in the same platform for the next 4 dreams looking god knows what, or you can dream a lifespam of a person in one night because time is elastic and you wake up im grief of something it never happened; all im saying is shit can and will go to the twillight zone eventually
Have you listened to or read Michael Talbots book Holographic Universe , I love Lucid dreams, but I don't get too many now, I think because I go to sleep listening to youtube, David Jacobs on alien abductions, or Missing 411 David Pauladies....so that doesn't give me wind down time to meditate before sleep
Something that people need to know, that goes along with what she's saying about lucid dreams keeping you awake all night,....if you have anxiety dreams, the kind where there's a problem and no matter what you do you can't figure it out or fix it,....you can train yourself to recognize that it's just a dream, not real, and you can shut it off and go back to sleep. There's nothing like being dead tired the next day because you wandered around all night trying to find the door or whatever stupid anxiety shit it was about. Sometimes these dreams seem very close to reality and sometimes it's like you're having someone else's dream because you obviously don't recognize anything in it. Regardless, just turn it off. It's like a level below night terrors and probably related to sleepwalking....you don't need any of it. Lucid dreams might be fun and interesting, these anxiety based dreams are not.
same I quit 🚬 weed and it's dream theater . last nite I talked about a previous dream like it was real in the next dream that I had in the same nite . weird shit
I hate that book the secret such B's tell small striving children it's there fault because it's the way they think ..I'm a lucid dreamer myself done some pretty cool stuff in them ..
Lucid Dreams are maybe a way to understand and get through the events that have had, I agree, that I have them and I wake up not refreshed 6 out of 10 days. I just want to enjoy the remaining days I have, but the bad dreams are representative of too much heartbreak and not enough time to recover from everyone of the heart breaks that we had to endure, for to long I believe we are getting rid of them. I am focusing on the day and next day. someone told me that one day we are going to Die, and I said year, but all the other days we are free to live life. Trust God Fiona , live as a child of God all the days OK?:)
I'd always read having dreams meant you were experiencing a greater, more restful sleep? I know on my days offa work, hrs from 5-11am are filled to the brim with lucid dreams & always wake up feeling THE MOST peacefully serene I ever do, regardless of how intense said lucid dreams might have been...
always have dreams exactly like this! according to Edgar Cayce teeth falling out, mean saying something that you need not to ...like telling the same toxic story over and over... Someone said I reminded them of you. Sincerely best compliment I ever received in 56 years. I have deep dark brown eyes/ still we are so connected........ re: the secret, i hear ya- the idea from philosopher Descarte, i think therefore I am...is more about mindfulness/consciousness of mind/body, no separation in my humble opinion. (btw David Garza is da bomb:) (i'm from A-town/Austin, texas- !xo)
When I’m struck with random anxiety & I’m not sure of the source, I think of something that would cause me to be anxious & the majority of the time it goes away. Try it out and let me know if that technique works for you.
Losing teeth is a classic dream, whatever it means. I miss having lucid dreams, I used to have a lot when I was younger, nowadays I don't have them anymore. I think some meds I took messed up my brain. By the way, they can be very therapeutic according to some estudies.

EE RG sounds like you’ve got a lot of anxiety friend :c
Enjoyed the review of the secret a lot. Also I jump horse also and I relate. I relive experience though to build immunity but i think im going to die before I get to live. Thank you apple of the worlds eye.
Thank you! I hate the secret and you nailed why with your explanation
Yes, they do! I have them too! They can be exhausting. I agree about "The Secret", they don't have a monopoly on the truth.
Lucid dreams are very exhausting yes. Fuuuuuck The Secret absolutely!!
And that is just one of them
Im laughing to tears 😂
Lucid dreams might be fun and interesting, these anxiety based dreams are not.
i get mental dreams when i give up smoking weed, they're exhausting!! x
Dominic Shaw My dreams also become much more vivid and memorable when I don't smoke.
mad innit? i feel like i need a holiday after some of em!!
same I quit 🚬 weed and it's dream theater . last nite I talked about a previous dream like it was real in the next dream that I had in the same nite . weird shit
It's because when you smoke it interrupts your REM cycle.
Yes having such bad thoughts that you can't really control is a bummer lol youre right
I hate that book the secret such B's tell small striving children it's there fault because it's the way they think ..I'm a lucid dreamer myself done some pretty cool stuff in them ..
Just wondering if you have bpd
Part of why I connected to your music is because of my bouts with borderline
I don't have lucid dreams but I have hypnopompic hallucinations. They absolutely suck.
To thine own self!
Losing teeth is a classic dream, whatever it means. I miss having lucid dreams, I used to have a lot when I was younger, nowadays I don't have them anymore. I think some meds I took messed up my brain. By the way, they can be very therapeutic according to some estudies.
Mine are always me trying to run but I'm moving soooo slow. It sounds harmless but it feels like being tied down.
