Rodtang has shown best way to counter elbow spinning, that is to stop it halfway and then opponent will lose sight, and when he tries to turn back. Rodtang can easily elbow him at his chin.

What I love about Rodtang more than anything is the way he pressures his opponent. They’re always the ones walking backwards and Rodtang hunts them down. Even fighters that are pressure fighters normally like Haggerty have no choice but to move away so they don’t exchange head on with Rodtang.
Really thankful for Chatri for making this event in the US. Fighters like Aung La, Stamp, and Rodtang can easily and vastly increase their fanbase over there.

First of all. If you didn't watch the entire fight, Taberes was actually in the fight but drew from the well too many times trying that reverse elbow from the teep catch. That elbow counter from Rodtang was absolutely surgical and beautiful. As many have mentioned, it's so hype to hear American fans chant his name.
Tabares had some good kicks early on. Hes a WBC Muay Thai champ and he looked good till he just spamming spinning elbows lol and got cracked for it
