The Emperor Dragon

The Emperor Dragon, one of the fiercer dragon species in Mid-World. These dragons have commonly brown scaled with a sold sheen, but sometimes have red or green scales with the same gold sheen. Their horns are pale bone like and they tend to grow larger and more numerous on their heads as they grow older giving them their name.

This took about 3.5 hours and was penciled with 2H Steadtler drafting pencil, inked with Micron Drawing pens, and then given an inkwash for shade and tone on 11" x 14" Strathmore Bristol.
