I think it's possible he did all side quests, but then he would decide to focus on the main one and it just happened he did a lot of it at once. I know I did it sometimes too.

These are all great and add a lot of flavor, but for the love of Rivia, why the hell can't I skip them, like at all? Every time you fast travel to a new area. or load up a save, you see these. Each. Time. They. Are. Unskippable. I seriously heard the "While tired, Ciri collapsed in the swamp. Then she was found by the Baron, Velens self-appointed ruler....." about 30+ times while doing side quests and general messing around in Velen/Novigrad. Good luck reloading if you need to save scum a horse race or just want to pick up playing after a few hours away.
At least on PC they are not unskippable. These are loading screens at the same time, and you can't skip them until the game has loaded in the background. On PC, if you hold space/X/square, it will skip the video as soon as the game has loaded.

Say somebody is out of earshot in game but they say something interesting, sometimes subtitles still show up even though you can't hear them very well. Or if someone mumbles what seems to be a bunch of nonsense, the subtitles help you hear them correctly. I apologize for my complaining xD

Are they in chronological order? If yes im already at Skellige and lost a ton of those. I arrived at Skellige at lvl 20, I tried to clear everything on wither orchard, velen and novigrad, some quests were already low lvl and give just tiny amount of xp tho
Good thing is that I got there with like 21k coins for doing all the contracts I could and looting a lot of hidden treasures, only didnt do the lvl 23+ contracts yet
I think he meant the static art feeling 3D-iish when the camera moves. Not layers and parallax, but actually seeing around things, like when Ciri is jumping on that Wild Hunt guy at the end, you can see around his armor.

The narration in these loading screens are horrendously bad, although that does make them memorable. The way he keeps pausing randomly during sentences reminds me of an ancient video called Full Life Consequences.
