No, your phone is not necessarily broken if you can't connect to the internet despite being connected to WiFi. There are several common issues that can cause this problem. Here are some possible reasons: Router Glitches: Technical problems with your router can disrupt the WiFi connection, preventing internet access. Internet Connection Hiccups: External factors like weather or ISP errors can interfere with the actual internet connection, hindering your phone's access beyond the router. IP Address Conflicts: Rare but possible, conflicts in assigned IP addresses on the network may occur, obstructing your phone's internet connectivity. DNS Server Issues: Problems with DNS servers can disrupt your phone's ability to translate website URLs into IP addresses, making the internet inaccessible. To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following methods: Restart your Android device: This can solve minor glitches affecting the network connection. Reset network settings: This method resets all network settings, including WiFi, mobile data, and Bluetooth. Forget and reconnect to the WiFi network: This can resolve IP address conflicts and other connectivity issues. Check your router and internet connection: Ensure that your router is functioning properly and your internet connection is stable. If none of these methods work, you may want to consider seeking assistance from your internet service provider or a professional technician to diagnose and fix the issue.
