I liked him as a player and was geninuely interested in what he had to say on his career too particularly at Villa as fan myself. He significantly omitted chat on the Villa era defering to the book. A mention or two on the book at the beginning and/or end would suffice. People will buy the book if interested but this didn't sit well with too much overkill on the sales pitch and holding back in places. Not the fault of the podcast crew just not smart use of the opportunity by Alan for me. Otherwise there was some good stories in this interview. Anyway you can't keep knocking each podcast out of the park as each personality will bring different things to the table. Thanks guys for continuing to get a wide range of player interviews - I still love them!
