He was pushing a gentleman around in a wheelchair, a Ex-RC Hydro racer I believe. No announcement before the races online or anywhere, they just showed up on Gold Sunday to sign autographs and watch the RC races. Nice to see he is still taking the old veterans for a spin, to this day. Chip has earned his Angels Wings.
Man would I love to do that. Id love to just have the opportunity to meet Chip. This boat was one of my favorites as a child growing up on puget sound. I would go to Lake Washington just to see time trials as a kid. Chip Hanauer will always be my favorite driver. Thanks for this video
