This is a very important message there is no black power without black science and engineering. Rastafarians have alot of very intelligent people among them and the most powerful tool they need to have is coding, 3d printing, being able to research and build their own products from metal casting to building solar power plants, water treatment facilities and set up comfortable and modern communities that can be self reliant.. buy a yatch or few and sail between the islands delivering your own goods for example...

Yes I! Give thanks for the reasoning and wisdom. Rastafari is THE TRUTH and neva a religion.
Imagine knowing from the beginning of your days upon the earth all the right moves to make in order to become successful and avoid all burdens, set backs and obstacles. Some might think of this a 'God mode' for real life and not just video games. Well this is what the instruction is good for. You can hear, listen, apply and find understanding or you can ignore it and continue on your way only to find all those pitfalls you should have avoided. This is why InI refer to the teachings as principals. Each principal is like a lens that allows for a more accurate view of the situation, beyond what man can readily perceive on his own. Each principal will always be reproven when applied correctly and if it is not, then you know that there is room to grow and/or more to learn.
Rom 10:1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
Rom 10:2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
Rom 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
Rom 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
Rom 10:5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

Going to share my thoughts. I'm Jamaican raised Christian, don't know that the doctrine/dogma is true, but know that the principles/practices are beneficial. Rastafari appeals to me because of the centrality of Africa. I think one of the things that held the Hebrews/Jews together is that their religion was not divorced from an earthly habitation, the HEAVEN thing, where it's after your death is a major limitation of Christianity, after Christ said the kingdom of God is here and now. When I think of the wilderness of North America, where I currently reside, I wonder what spiritual system is best for my brothers and sisters here. If Rastafari is a PRACTICAL discipline then we can share it with everyone, but if it's more pie in the sky nonsense, then it don't make any sense to share. Let them keep their Christianity, FOI, Islam, NOI, whatever it is they want. Who is doing the work of distilling Rastafari to it's principles and practices so we can see the benefit of bringing it to our brothers and sisters in the diaspora and on the continent?

    • @seanregehr4921
      @seanregehr4921 3 ปีที่แล้ว

I mostly agree, except for the part of going about like missionaries do. Those who chose to live upright will and they will study to shew themselves approved. It is one thing to let everyone know they have a choice to make, but it is not right to force feed them, or to "toss pearls to swine". All this means is that those who have received pearls or otherwise good wisdom and knowledge, should not be readily giving it away to those who never put in the work. As you reap so shall you sow. You do not give a child a vehicle before they have a license, etc. This is part of what led to the watering down of the True principals and teachings. Each man stands alone, but we are able to reason and meditate to reflect and find the Truth for each I.
It will always be most beneficial and efficient to simply do what we are commanded to do in order that we receive the benefits and blessings. This is what letting your light shine is all about. When others take notice and become interested, then you will have found the perfect situation to share, teach and reason because their own intentions led them to seek it out for themselves. This means internally they are ready to receive the message you would have for them.
However, none can give a good answer to any least they know fully how to answer. This will certainly include proving and reproving the knowledge of Truth, else you will have no foundation upon which and will sink as a result. This will not result in others changing for the better either, as they will question what you are saying and see no evidence to support it.

If you are living upright you are showing who you are by how you live, now if someone is antagonist or don’t care to hear your views then you leave them alone; these people are swines because even if you give them something to read or watch they won’t do it, so you keep your pearls you don’t continue sharing information with them. You cannot hide who you are, and according to the Bible you are quoting it says that you don’t hide your light when you have learned the truth, you show it for others to see.

Idk, a practical approach to Rastafari is to be equally yoked. First, these men really have to let us know why they refuse to marry African women. There is a need for more African women in the movement, the culture lives through the women and is then passed onto the children. If most of these men don’t want to marry African women, who are they to talk on forward movements?

I grew up around Rastafarians. It was taboo to get intimate with caucasian women/men or other women/men of other races. Because, parts of the Rastafarian Movement involves the back to Africa, Black Empiwerment, and peserving the Black Race. Many elder Ras didn't fully embraced Bob because he was seen as Half White (emotional people will disagree)! Facts can't be diluted! It matters not how much people feel uncomfortable with the Facts!

    Rastafari -- Ras means head
    Tafari means Creator.
So Ras Tafari means Head Creator.
    Ras also means Prince
    Tafari also means Peace
So Rastafari also means Prince of Peace.
    Head Creator...Prince of Peace...
    Christ in his kingly character...
Selassie means Glory of the Trinity..
So how can anyone deny the divinity of His Majesty...
Which translates to being the divinity of God Creator in all humankind.
So each must know that they come of divinity..
One Father God for us all.

Ras - "Head or headship, position, role."
Tafari - "To be revered, to be feared."
"The Head to be Revered" is the most accurate translation.
