Shroud have you thought of being on the management side of a team? You could build your own and be a coach or analyst. Then you could have off-time due to less practice hours. Or you could be in the competitive side as a caster, sorta like LS.
You know coaches put sooo much time in watching demo's and stuff right? Often comming up with new strats wich he needs to teach the igl and just spending atleast the same amount of time in as the actual players.
Shroud is a competitor. Being a coach, analyst or a caster is great in it's own right but it's not the same as being a player and it's 100% not something he'd want to do. The only thing he could really do is make a team and have less hours put into it and have it be like a high tier semi casual team or even just try and be a substitute as often as he can but there's no real answer to his problem
Shroud's strength wouldn't be as a coach or analyst. He might be fine at those things, but his strength is definitely as a player, because his main asset is his pure aiming skill and game sense on a 5-10 second tactical level, not on an overall strategic level. He would be the first to tell you he isn't a big-brain, 200 IQ play strat deviser. He's a fantastic player, but even IGL is a role that wouldn't really suit him very well. And he would still have to invest at least as much time into coaching/analyzing as he would playing, so it doesn't really solve the dilemma.

i have the curse of not able to play any game casually , like i have to compete , this is the only reason that keeps me playing a game competition , the other problem is i love RPG games but they are casual games or have no skills or pay to win , i remember i was so hype for kurtzpell because it was PVP competitive game but after playing it for 2 days it was disappointement cuz u are locked in a cage and its not RPG at all and after while it becomes pay to win so i left it .. so what im doing now is im creating my own Competitive and casual and fun skilled combat RPG game wish me luck to keep developing it maybe i start doing devlogs later , but i start giving up tbh since its indie 0 budget and no experience in modeling
Shroud, I think you should go full into that tournament system you wanted to do. But have that tournament be for streamers. So you can practice when you want, but if you miss a practice, it’s not the end of the world. No one would take it too seriously because it’s just streamers competing, but mainly having fun. BUT - you’d still get your thirst for fiery competition quenched, because there is something on the line that matters enough, but won’t make you feel like you’re holding others back: reputation. You aren’t afraid of your reputation being lost/changed because you’re comfortable and happy with who you are. Buuuut - playing for reputation as “Best Streamer” is alluring enough that it motivates you and is a never-ending thirst.
If i was shroud i would get a "streamteam" that try their hardest to get good onstream. And yeah, ppl will steal ideas and know how to play against you. But thats not a border, its a challange that i would love to see you guys take. "How far you can go whilst being a streamer". Then you can compete but its harder for you
It’s hard to stay if csgo is really casual because surfing isn’t an official gamemode that’s usually a custom lobby. Custom lobbies are public so it’s not like it’s limited to the people you can invite Valorant can only casual they allow the amount of freedom csgo has in custom lobbies. I can join csgo server where the map is sideways but Valorant at least the moment doesn’t give much to custom lobbies, they feel like a limo version of customs in the older cod games because they were most meant for 1v1s, testing out weapons, or messing with a large group of friends.

If he was to go pro again, why would he still need to find time to stream if he’s going pro? He said about ‘meeting hours’ - does he have a quota of streaming hours he has to meet for someone else? I thought streaming was mostly down to streaming because you want to, not because of a quota you have to hit 🤔
i have the curse of not able to play any game casually , like i have to compete , this is the only reason that keeps me playing a game competition , the other problem is i love RPG games but they are casual games or have no skills or pay to win , i remember i was so hype for kurtzpell because it was PVP competitive game but after playing it for 2 days it was disappointement cuz u are locked in a cage and its not RPG at all and after while it becomes pay to win so i left it .. so what im doing now is im creating my own Competitive and casual and fun skilled combat RPG game wish me luck to keep developing it maybe i start doing devlogs later , but i start giving up tbh since its indie 0 budget and no experience in modeling
i think i need a shroud podcast in my life
Shroud, I think you should go full into that tournament system you wanted to do.
Please play breath of the wild man and keep up the good shit
@Mike , Do you clean ears yourself or do you go to doctors for Wax Removal ?
If i was shroud i would get a "streamteam" that try their hardest to get good onstream. And yeah, ppl will steal ideas and know how to play against you. But thats not a border, its a challange that i would love to see you guys take. "How far you can go whilst being a streamer". Then you can compete but its harder for you
And this kids is why you don't sell your soul to mixer. There's a big difference between having to do something and wanting to.
you already know he is coming back... welcome back legend :)
Won’t jeopardize it bro we’ll still be here for ya do what you wanna do :)
I can join csgo server where the map is sideways but Valorant at least the moment doesn’t give much to custom lobbies, they feel like a limo version of customs in the older cod games because they were most meant for 1v1s, testing out weapons, or messing with a large group of friends.
wed love to see you compete again
Shroud and matt will be perfect partner for podcasting if they ever decides to.... Their insight into games and even certain things abt life is so soothing😍😍
Love your content and stated watching you while playing pubg so got myself into PUBGM and got excited watching you play all the time.
Mortal ja k dekh fir, ye tere aukat k bahaar h
@@Vinsanity48 mortal kya he ?
Would it be possible to be a sub for any teams that may need an extra player to fill in if anything happens?
I think shroud can take a chance to compete. Even if he decides to come back to just streaming, he can always do that. He can try a change. It wont hurt him. I guess. I think he will dominate more.
Shroud could compete in any game his skill is so good
Ill always watch and learn from you either way. you have all of our respect, no matter what you do. At least from the fans that truly care.
That’s when you make your own competitive team that isn’t an organization. I’ve heard you say that once you get to a certain level everyone is pretty much the same. I believe you can master a game without all the excessive hours going towards it.
Shroud quarantined his self way before the virus
I just love shroud so much man just do what you feel like you need to do whatever you want to do just do we all love you any way ❤️♥️
