For Merc discipline you need to mouse over your unit icon in a battle, than you get a second pop up for unit specific modi in combat, like Merc discipline

Apparently this dude historically was Hellenistic (ancient Greek religion, like Zues and whatnot), but despite the fact that Hellenism is in the vanilla game files via Crusader Kings save converters, the devs made him animist instead, in order to represent his pagan beliefs.
29:42 he is described as an animist because historically he was a pagan and he wanted to convert Byzantium to Greek paganism. He existed around 1453. He was a philosopher.
So what I see is: conquer land, less than 100 dev, don't core it, make a client state with -25% liberty desire, make it a "Pronoiar", inherit them => expanded without admin nor diplo points.
So isn't it like: when their heir die you get it for free?
I imagine this is one of those things that's gonna be changed in a hotfix. Even when reading the dev diary I knew there was no way it was gonna stick.
@XaleanderS exactly. That was my thought process. But they have to be a monarchy. Client states can be made as republics too. Imagine being allowed to combine that and inherit them after ~4 years XD
This sound intresting...
*As byzantium go catholic to become hre emperor > then revoke privilegia > then reconvert to orthodox > then force convert majority of hre vassals to orthodox (this will trigger an event to make orthodox the official faith of HRE)*
I'm planning such a campaign. However, at the moment I'm playing with new countries and seeing what's in them.
pronoiar is actually a very strong mechanic, it allows you to inherit vassals for free if you control their liberty desire. They also don't count in the number of relations
yes, i agree with that
kocham cie lukas naprawde tutoriale pomagaja
Dzięki!
Great video Lookas!!
Ah yes the resurgence of Roma invicta 🇬🇷 🗿👌😎👍
As an Italian, Byzantine Empire was masterpiece
!
Big shoutout to the voice actor here - you sound almost exactly as Polish TH-camr Lookas! Btw, is there any possibility for someone like me to join your staff? I'm on english philology in Polish College and would love to help you in this project. ❤
I don't think I can afford you. I do everything myself. I use 11labs AI help. It just improves my English accent.
@@lookasetbellaYour accent seems fine, especialy for a felow slavic speaker. Dont stress about it, but definetely try improving it!

try forming Rome as trebezond with the new dlc
Good one!
Thanks!
Its not easy, but if you are able to survive those initial years, you can snowball harder than any nation in the game.
Pronoiars and the Mission Tree are fucking OP.
How do you have edicts?!
I can't place if this is an ai voice or not because it sounds very much so at times.
it's an AI voice based on his own voice
Yes
Lookas et bella lepiej brzmi lookas et blądyna hehe❤
Po jakiemu to?
They NERFED Byzantium??
Yes, and no. Yes it is harder on the start. But in later game Byzantium is much much stronger than before.
We need catholic Byzantine-roman empire
It shuld be easy. but i add this idea to note
@@lookasetbella thanks! It will be a logical continuation to the "Union of the churches" win the reunion of two Romes
U can convert to Catholic and become Latin empire by event, then the pope will make a defensive alliance and if u get attack by the ottoman, some countries (even not allie) can rejoin
@@Ikenice2105 Disables all Byz achievements
Does this still work?
It's should work.
Ha!
