+FattBoi It's not just a Bluedrake thing, it's pretty much all of the PR and Squad dedicated community. Sometimes it sucks when one squad does whatever they want without even telling other squads. Also you can't communicate with players around you, only with those in TS which is probably just your squad.
Thats exactly the point. If im playing with my friends in a squad. I don't want to hear other people. Especially if im recording. I don't want no random person screaming for a medic in my video. TS allows only you and your friends to be heard. If they want people to start using in-game voice, then they need to start, by making sure stuff like that doesn't happen. And with PR Mumble crashes often. Using TS eliminates the potential of losing contact with your squad. And most PR servers, mainly Free Candy Van, people aren't communicating either way. Unless BlueDrake is on.

La Esco Blanca I never claimed to be part of the community and you are just insulting here, but what is the point of playing a game that is supposed to be tactical and have teamwork when you ignore communication. If you want to play only with your friends only there plenty of other games in the which you can do that but this game is meant to be played otherwise, you don't need to be some mil-sim player or anything you just need to stay communicated with the rest of the squad and team, it's a main aspect of the game. Even just writing while keeping Voip on is better than talking only with friends because you still communicate with the rest of the team.

it would be cool if invading force had helmets because they are organized military and prevented 1 shots where the local militia characters have a mini map since they lived in those lands.

+Max Spoon It would be very interesting if BLUFOR had better resistance to bullets (because of their armor) but were slower (thus forcing them to rely more on their transport vehicles) while OPFOR had little to no armor, yet could move much faster on foot.
+Max Spoon If you get hit at the helmet by 7.62x39 or 5.45x39 (even if they are far less good at penetrating than 5.56x45 M855A1) it needs to be the perfect angle to get deflected. At any normal angle it goes trough.
+Highlander Military standart lvl 4 plates hold up to .30-06ap (7.62x64 with tungstencarbid core). Good plates even against .338LapuaMagnum FMJ (but in this case with a dent on the back).
Also they dont need to be slower because of the relatively light rifles and ammo.

+Stefan Pyne PR came from BF2 which was the last Battlefield title with some small amount of teamwork. And the whole reason that PR was made was because BF2 still lacked the tools that the PR dev team wanted. Coming from BF2 means nothing when I want to take a shit on BF3 and 4.
Flatlala I don't mind people trying to hate against the recent Battlefield games, my problem is that people like Im Derk are trying insult the Squad Up guys for playing Battlefield, when PR and ultimately SQUAD was made by Battlefield players.

Just instal Steam and get the game. It will literally take 20 minutes.
I have steam, I've had it since November 3 2003. What I don't have anymore however is a gaming PC since they cost too much money to constantly have to upgrade, hence why I wished they would make games like this for consoles.
+Burt Sampson Just avoid the words Alien Ware and your good to go. You could always just order a $400 to $500 PC already built for you or make your own for like $100. You don't need to upgrade evertime that's just a console misconception. A normal office PC can be used like a console even.

I really like the direction mechanic. Being able to pinpoint the enimy location really promotes team work. I wish Battlefront/Battlefield had that.

yes the muzzle speed is pretty close to the real thing around 900m/s and the gravity 9.81m/s² not like in BF where the muzzle speed is 550m/s and gravity 15m/s², loool

I have to say I'm loving the audio of this game, if you have ever been in a real firefight (using blanks obviously) the shots sound identical to the real life counterpart, and there's not loads of grenade spam so your not surrounded by explosions all the time... Very nice indeed

Main reason the teamwork in this game actually works is because there is no "+100" that pops up every time you kill someone.

Yes currently there is only a designated marksman class so far with limited kit per squad, A sniper class will implemented in the future but it will be very limited like only 1-2 per team, thats mean that on a 50 player team, there is only max 5 snipers kits
To make this game more realistic you should get PTSD and be homeless after you win the match.

In marine they have DMR role in normal troops, sniper only exist in recon team or nowadays is marsoc but they change it to raiders in the lastest time i check. so its already have dmr role in game. Sniper role shouldnt be in all squad roles but im sure it will add in later when logitics system add in

The dev team said they plan on it being in Early Access until the end of 2016 so I'm assuming that means the game won't have a retail release until 2017.

@ Matimio, the beauty of squad is that you don't have to belong to a clan/team to communicate, you should use the ingame VOIP instead of TS so that your squad mate could also benefits from your com. So please in the feature i'd like you to play as a full squad not only you 4 guys.
