    Iced granita looks great on you! It looks so much more fashion forward than the darker color.

      Iced Granita is awesome. It filled a gap in the "gray" color selection.

    I *love* the color of the iced granita but the loooong bang and long sides would just drive me bonkers. 😆

      @ItsJoan NotJoann, thanks for watching and your comment. I agree with you. I'm past the point of hair in my point. I will say that the Tru2Life fibers can be put in place easier than Vibralite, as they are not as slippery. Of course, we can always cut the bangs shorter and shorten up the side. That the beauty of working with a cosmetologist!

    Hi Dianne love that new spring wig for 2022, will you be having videos and reds coming soon in a new spring collection? Would love to see that! This looks very pretty on you especially the darker color. Brings out your skin tones!😀

    When a wig fits say a 22” how much give can you get from the adjusters? It would help to see wig with an added pause so viewer has a good idea how it looks from all sides. I am dealing with a double chin and I like to see a wig’s impact on this area please. You are a perfect person with flaws just like us all. So stop apologizing. You are doing what a lot of us wish we had the moxie to do💓💖💕 What a relief when you say, “This wig is so comfortable!” Gives a large cap person hope. Can’t wait to view more newly released wig styles that fit ya!

    • @RedPoppyWigsKC
      @RedPoppyWigsKC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Elizabeth Spinz. Thanks for watching and your comments. To answer your question about the adjusters, you may get an inch or so extra. What I have found it that circumference isn't always the issue with larger heads, it can be the measurement from hairline to nap and top of the right ear to the left. I'll try to pause longer next time. I appreciate that suggestion. Like you, I keep pushing for more larger wigs. It is easier to alter a wig and make it smaller than making it bigger.

  • @DebbieSparrow

    Sadly many of us do not live close to wig stores, so we order online.

    • @RedPoppyWigsKC
      @RedPoppyWigsKC  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Collins, I absolutely understand, but after selling close to 10,000 to several thousand women, I know they don't all fit the same, even the same size of the same brand. That's why I recommend wig shops, if at all possible.

    This is a pretty style but honestly the first thing I'd do if I bought this would be to shorten those long pieces in the front. I realize that is a design element, but I like all the rest of the style so...snip snip. I'd like to hear your comments on the feel of the fibers. It seems to me there is quite a bit of variation between brands, styles, type of fiber (regular synthetic, or heat-friendly) and even colors. My natural hair is very fine. Some wig fibers seem extremely coarse, which I find unpleasant to touch.

    • @RedPoppyWigsKC
      @RedPoppyWigsKC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Elle Cee. Thank you for the suggestion about the fibers. You are correct that they all are a little bit different. There are pros and cons to each. I do appreciate the companies continue to improve them. There is a lot of great competition, which ups the alternative hair game. I would cut the front of this wig as well. I'm not a fan of hair in my face.

    • @mariancrawford7980
      @mariancrawford7980 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not just that, but the left side is extremely thick and you're very limited to the area of parting, because this wig is a mono part. Natural looking hair has more hair on one side than the other with a side part, unless parted down the middle.

  • @sallysmack9372
    @sallysmack9372 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I have to have height on top of my wigs, so I like that this wig has top volume. But if it's a true average (and possibly smaller), I'd never be able to tolerate it on my huge head.

    • @RedPoppyWigsKC
      @RedPoppyWigsKC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Sally Smack. Thank you for your comment. I have the same complaint and continue to mention it to my reps at the wig companies. You can fake it with a longer wig, but not a short one that is too small.

    I absolutely love this new style - except for the wonky bang! I can’t get mine to lay right! I’ve wet it, sprayed it, trimmed it, and it still flops in my face.

    • @RedPoppyWigsKC
      @RedPoppyWigsKC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Robin Stewart. You might try steam or a blow-brush, just to heat it up a bit to bend it a little.

    • @robinstewart6820
      @robinstewart6820 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RedPoppyWigsKC I’ve done all of that, but it still lays wonky. I’ve given up on it ☹️☹️

      @lindapullan6937 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@robinstewart6820 hi Robin can I suggest try pinning the floppy bit back with a hair clip or hair comb. If you wear it for a while with the hair comb or clip in it should train it to lay away from your face. Just a thought and worth a try.

    Okay, so let's get real. It's so frustrating to see a wig figured through and left a mess without styling it into something pretty, right? I did my homework an sent for this one and it's horrible, thus far. One big chunk of thick hair on the left and it looks like yours even after styling. I'm pretty good at this, but I'd like to see what the average person can do with it and, if you can't figure it out, what in the world am I going to do with it??? At least show me your finished style, because you look good in short cuts. Just saying....unboxing it and only doing that little bit with a new wig doesn't do much more than what I do in my bathroom. Wish I'd seen your video before I ordered it!

    • @RedPoppyWigsKC
      @RedPoppyWigsKC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Marian Crawford. I'm sorry about your experience. I can't say that you are alone. I've fitted and sold many thousands of wigs and it is rare that I can take one out of a box and have a client walk out without me doing something to it. (Trim/cut/shape/steam, etc.)
      In regard to the wigs in my video, especially the short styles, they are too small for my head. Consequently, I don't style them in a way that I would wear them, because I am not going to keep them. I will sell them in my store. If it is a wig that fits and I plan to keep it, I will style in a way that I would wear it. (I hope that makes sense.)
      Honestly, this is a huge reason I won't sell wigs from my website. Like all garments, although there is an industry and vendor standard, products make it out of the factory with inconstancies.

      @@RedPoppyWigsKC Thank you for explaining things to me and I apologize for the tantrum (plus the typos). This was just a horrible experience for me, so I was looking for some guidance. I think the wig itself was made way too thick on one side and hopeless. It happens one in a blue moon with online purchases....que sera sera! Fortunately, I haven't had this much wig frustration too many times in 31 years of wig wearing, so onward to the next style!
