those who compare MM and AA, it is simple. AA plays safe and it's her choice, same goes with MM, she's a risk taker, shes love it, and it satisfies her, that's all. as simple as that.
but i would say this, if AA is doing a free solo concert, i would prefer MM with tickets.
AA singing style is just like beautiful general mountain and river painting.

sorry if this might hurt you 🥲 for me AA or even EZ not play safe. ingat tak dulu AA banyak belt, sampai bingit. now after dia belaja teknik dalam vocal start lagu sepi dia focus on control not only high note. sebab tulah dia menang vocal start dari tu and thats why jugak MM first no 2 tapi tak menang best vocal and second ajl ni pun tak menang best vocal sebab terlalu 'pemurah'. memang d akui suara marsha memang sangat sangat tinggi and she can even do higher and boleh whistle. but MM lack of techniques which kelebihan AA dan EZ adalah diorang sentiasa add on their music knowledge and pernah ajar orang. so diorang tau mana tempat nak belt and diorang masok note yang betul ke or terlari sikit. telinga diorang dah peka. MM ni macam orang luar yang dapat hit high note but diorang taktau apa betul apa salah bila dengar suara diorang sendiri. paham tak? ilmu muzik kurang but kelebihan dapat nyanyi lagu tinggi. if perasan reaction guru vocal MM banyak kurang pada teknik dan kalau check note awal awal masha selalu flat or salah masuk key sebab dia sendiri taktau betul ke tidak sebab shes not even vocal student or belajar muzik kat sekolah macam EZ and AA. AA pun baru sekarang dah ok. dulu pun dia belt je semua tempat jadi lagu tu hilang kemerduan dia. kes MM ni macam aisha retno terlalu pemurah. semua nak bagi. sometimes less is moree. its okay marsha is a great singer. one day if banyak belajar dia akan jadi better macam aina dulu dulu dari zero to hero. slow slow. semua orang boleh berjaya 😇

@@xm0gsh67 Betul. Kalau follow ajl dr dulu, siapa yg nyanyi over mmg tak menang vokal. Biasa pemenang vokal bukan siapa nyanyi paling tinggi tp penyanyi yg boleh bg rasa dalam nyanyian. Sebab tu misha bbrp kali dpt menang vokal wlpn nyanyiannya tidaklah clean terutama high note. Tp nyanyian dia ada rasa dan not over do. Just nice. EZ bljr slps KB, akhirnya Gundah dia angkat vokal. AA belajar slps Semalam, akhirnya Sepi dia angkat vokal. Kembali terang SFMM paling best. Syg final agak terlebih. Kalau dia maintain sprt SFMM mgkin berpeluang. Eventhough at first i thought she is a bit too much like oversinging , but somehow, theres something about her performance that makes me wanna watch it over and over again. And suprisingly im in love with this arrangement esp in the middle of the song. Its growing on me! Fuhh what a range! She is such a powerhouse! One thing i love about marsha is she is a risk taker. I believe Her time will come sooner or later.

I was there at Axiata and I really feel her performances are best for live audience. Now that I'm rewatching her performance in video it sounds a bit one-dimensional compared to when I watched it live. I couldn't feel my hands right after she finished performing and I kept saying oh my god because my ears couldn't process Marsha's performance. She is really one of a kind in Malaysia, same goes to Aina and Ernie. They're all amazing in their own ways and I'm proud to have them representing us Malaysians!

According to the jury during the press conference, it was very difficult to choose between the three of them in terms of vocals, but when considering the strength of the song and the melody (song difficulties & arrangement), Aina Abdul had the advantage and because they had to choose only one winner, so Aina won.

Marsha won second as best vocal at that night. The only thing that made her didnt win was because she belted too much though it was not wrong at all, and Aina managed to touch her audiences really deeply well through her song and singing. I believe if Marsha had a better arrangement of this song, she could be the winner.

Aku suka aina, tp aku lg minat zaman2 dia tak ramai peminat dulu. Sbb skrang ni aku makin penyampah pulak dgn peminat aina. Boleh baca komen2 dorang, acah belajar vokal je. Marsha is on the right track, same as Ernie and Aina.. None of them just win everything in their first or second attempt.. Aina didnt win anything during her first AJL meanwhile Marsha won Best Performance and 1st runner up and Ernie won Best Vocal only during her first AJL.. Now Marsha and Ernie didnt win anything but its not Ernie's first time im sure it will happen again, its just the part of the learning process to slowly making ur way up to the top just Aina did, Ernie and Marsha on their way too im sure someday they will win but whatever it is they are surely the holy trinity hot stuff in Malaysia right now❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Next is ernie! The jury said the only reason she lost is because her song is not as challenging as aina's or marsha's. But their score's difference is definitely no more than half a point.

My opinion, this "Kembali Terang" arrangement for AJL way too heavy and hard to digest. I was there at Axiata Arena and I'm a bit worried coz she sounded like not very well prepared for this new arrangement (just my thaught). Netizen's said she was screaming all entire performance. The improvisation way too much which nearly outshadow of the original version. On the bright side, the vocal, showmanship, emotion, storytelling all shown and she is Marsha Milan!

The belts and the high notes not helping us to understand the song itself. she didn’t have power to carry last chorus. I cannot emotionally relate to this song. the belting itself unnecessary. Unlike Cinta most audience emotionally relates with her singing. With Kembali Terang it sounded she want to express her powerful vocal. She always challenging herself but Kembali Terang is not the right song to do that.
AJL is a song competition. Judges and Audience will judge the song and her performance. We saw the result. I know she want something different but we have to accept that this version not well received like Semi Final Version.

You're right, the main jury also said that marsha is in second place for vocal category and ernie third place but the mark are all so close to one another.

I saw an interview with the head judge of ajl37 after the winner annoucement and he said that one of the reason why their not choose Marsha as the vocal winner is because of the she over do it. He said that when you over do it by shown it in your vocal sometime it will ruin the song beauty and he also said mentioned that Aina was picked as winner because she looks more natural when getting the high notes.I hope i explained it well.But i do agreed with ur point and thanks for react
