Sayaw Kadayawan 2019 Champion - Madayaw Cultural Ensemble

Grandslam champion of Madayaw Cultural Ensemble presents Maguindanao Tribe entitled Pandag. A piece of traditional ritual ceremony for a possessed human casting a spirit away. The piece also portrays how the Sagayan (babaylan) originates from a woman to pass its power to a man. That is why Sagayan are being performed by most of men but dresses like a woman.
