    Makiga machines are quality and are sold with a warranty. Please BEWARE of fake machines that are not from our factory located in the Industrial area, Nairobi.
    500 blocks daily: All our manual machines above produce a single block per stroke and will make average 500Pcs blocks per day, working with 3-4 men.
    DI machine: The straight interlocking block-press (6 inch (290x140x115mm) is a popular machine for it saves costs with a bigger margin hence the best buy.
    Free Training: The machines are also simple to use. We offer free training on our premises in Nairobi after purchase.
    Onsite training: We send trainers to your site at a cost.
    Free Delivery: Kindly note we offer free delivery to the nearest town accessed by our courier company (KENYA ONLY). The machine weighs an average of 145Kgs.
    Soil: Cement Ratio: The blocks are made from a mixture of 5% Cement and 95% Soil. You can use all kinds of soil except black cotton soil. The machine comes with a shrinkage box that will be used to test different types of soil and this will be taught during the training done at Makiga.
    Savings: You will save close to 50% of the building cost because you will save on mortar, time, and labor.

    I thought cement would harden within 24 hours and harden the blocks as well so that rain cannot wash off cement after 4 days. It seems the soil requires more sand in it to react with the cement for quicker hardening.

    But wait,seems this brick is expensive because if 1bag of cement only mixes 16buckets of soil,producing 120bricks...that means you need alot of cement to make enough bricks

    But wait,seems this brick is expensive because if 1bag of cement only mixes 16buckets of soil,producing 120bricks...that means you need alot of cement to make enough bricks

      The cost effectiveness comes when building as won't need a lot of cement when brick laying. You just interlock the bricks and the house will be ready in less than a week depending on the size. You just need a little cement for the corners when building
