They do not want users to know this feature because it reduces quality for a faster shutter speed. Implementing this as default would mean that early reviews would have lower-quality photos and be bad PR. They need help to process as fast as most other brands, many of which have their own camera co-processor to speed this up. So, this is a cheap fix and probably best to avoid and wait for Samsung devs to fix the processing speed.
Technically if you use the new update which is quick tap shutter. It will help solve the issue. The speed thing helps as well and if you want it to be super fast it’s a good option. It’s why iPhones and pixels have such quick shutter speeds
@@ClapperDan I have always used burst shot to completely eliminate this issue. Why don't more reviewers mention this?. Is it just to keep the problem out there and ultimately bringing in the views and likes?.
What is this exactly for? The flash? Because it is awful! I bought a Samsung Galaxy A34, £300, thinking that it would be a great investment, instead on many fronts it is no more than a cheap phone. I am so disappointed..... when I want to take photos at a music venue, for example, even with reasonable light, I have to ask friends if I can use their phone. How awful is that? And I did a lot of research, because a good camera was my priority. Still ended up with such a useless thing. I have never been able to use the flash. And with a bit less light, the photos are blurred.
Unfortunately Ben this module doesn't work particularly well in low light scenarios and the time between pressing the shutter button and the phone taking the picture is proper slow.
New camera assistant has quick tap shutter who h enables just a touch to capture photo instead of removing the finger to activate shutter. That is different to capture speed setting. I get really good pics for moving objects now which was a big bane with Samsung. If you have pets you would know what I'm talking. Now with this option, it works really well with low light too. Try it for yourself to check. Cheers
First, this didn't eliminate shutter lag at all. Second, it isn't available in all countries. Third, it's so lame from Samsung not to fix the issue that has been there on devices for YEARS, but try to override it with third party app...that didn't help.
What store did you download the camera assistant app? I can't find it on play store or galaxy store. I live in Michigan so idk if its just not available in my area
Useful data.. Thanks. They don't want u to know for 2 reasons. 1) u / we keep upgrading every year like idioos in hope that newer phone has faster cpu and less lag . 2) the faster shutter allgorhy will factor in lesser quality in attaemtp to he faster.. It's change everything android 14 now it new apps fine Lock only for Samsung. I'm not happy right now I can't fix the camara for video record it really blurry. on Ultra s23
Samsung quality has gone horribly downhill. Its hard to believe how shitty their phones have become. Ten years ago they were awesome. My camera ftom my eight year old phone works 1,000% better than on my new a14
I tested this app and sucks. I need a quality in moving objects like iPhones. Losing quality in that mode is a shame. Sorry man, that's my opinion. Exynos again..
But how come apple doesn't have shutter lag? If all android phone shutter lag caused by frame by frame processing what about iphone ? I need an explanation on this
@@DarkFlame8777 th-cam.com/video/MqWTvgvdij0/w-d-xo.html As you can see on this link at 5:42 S23 can only capture 14 photos and Iphone 14 pro max can take 25 photos, even with the latest software update and fastest android chipset sd8 gen 2 samsung still cant beat iphone, what about pixel ? Sweet! Thx for sharing!
In tests I've seen, setting it to balanced makes no difference to quality but increases speed
A comparison at the end would have been nice
there is no camera assistant app in the Galaxy store in s22
The fact that we have to install an additional app to correct this is ridiculous
Exactly what I thought. One pays so much money, "reputable" brand... and no use phoning them, they have no idea about their own products.
At this time; the Camera Assistant, isn’t available on older flagship Samsung phones.
and not even with my $500 A73🥲🥲
Not available on s21 U here :/

Can you perform a test with these settings to see how effective they are at reducing blur on moving objects?

Thanks for you're advice. Do you know why in Canada there is no camera assistant app existing?
For some reason its not in my galaxy store, shame i missed out so many perfect shots over this shutter lag😔
Same 😢
S23u is still slow in 50mp lag on moving objects as of 27th November 2023
They don't even have good lock anymore

damn i've been eyeing the green s23 ultra, but that cream color looks so mesmerizing 😍
I have the green one but looks greyish. I love it though
i tried it it really reduces the quality quite a lot, especially when using any of the telephoto lenses
So it loses on quality, i stay with iphone until Samsung improves it
What store did you download the camera assistant app? I can't find it on play store or galaxy store. I live in Michigan so idk if its just not available in my area
Camera assistant doesn't show up on my galaxy store ? Only sound assistant
Fixed it! Nice one bro 👌

Why didn't you mention it affects picture quality?
Not available in Mozambique...
Camera Assistant is not available on all Galaxy phones.
The app doesn't support on my phone. While I have UI 5.1 already.
Wow that's great, thanks bro very nice and informative video 🎉

@@LoverOfTech it looks like some kind of rig holding the phone with attachments

this is not compatible with samsung galaxy A devices. You wont even be able to locate or download the app at all.

The app is not supported on your samsung phone or region
I still get a 4 second count down though
I found the problem. it was scene optimiser on. Sadly have to turn it off for a direct shot.
Why i cant anable it?
