In a village near a seasonal river, three frog friends-**Bob**, *NYC**, and **Han**-are struggling with a drought that has dried up their water source. Determined to find a new supply, they embark on a journey into the forest. During their search, they spot a man carrying a large pot of water. **NYC**, the cautious one, suggests asking the man where he got the water, while **Bob**, confident and adventurous, proposes they follow him and drink from the pot when he sets it down. **Han* follows Bob’s lead, as always.
Before they can act, a *snake* appears, claiming to know of a large, permanent river beyond the village. While *NYC* is suspicious, *Bob* is intrigued by the idea of a quick solution, and *Han* agrees to follow the snake. The snake shares a sad tale about losing its mother, which wins *Bob* and **Han**'s sympathy, despite **NYC**’s reservations.
    The Snake’s Trap
The snake leads the frogs to a small pond far from the promised river. *Han* expresses disappointment, but the snake convinces them to drink and rest. While *Bob* and *Han* drink, *NYC* stays cautious. Suddenly, the snake begins to sing a hypnotic song: "Sweet water, sweet water, with my poison, they fall into a deep sleep." The melody lulls *Bob* and *Han* into a deep slumber, while *NYC* remains alert and realizes they've been deceived.
The snake, seeing her plan succeed, prepares to devour *Bob**. Using his wits, **NYC* replaces *Bob* with a stone and knocks the snake unconscious with a stick. *Han* wakes up, and the frogs hurry to carry *Bob* away from the snake before she wakes.
    Return to Safety
The frogs soon encounter the man with the pot again, and *Bob* wakes up, confused. *NYC* explains that the water from the pond was poisoned. They decide to drink from the man’s fresh water, and *Bob**, eager for relief, jumps into the pot, followed by **Han* and **NYC**. The cool water comforts them.
However, the man begins to boil the water to purify it, unaware of the frogs inside. *NYC* notices the rising temperature and warns the others. *Bob**, confident in his ability to endure the heat, stays in the pot. As the water heats dangerously, **NYC* and *Han* jump out, but *Bob* refuses to leave, believing he can withstand it.
    The Tragic End of Bob
The water reaches a boiling point, and despite their efforts to save him, *Bob* succumbs to the heat. The man, unaware of the frogs inside, approaches the pot and discovers *Bob**'s lifeless body. **NYC* and **Han**, hidden nearby, witness the tragedy and are filled with grief.
    The Decision to Return Home
Devastated, *NYC* and *Han* return to the village to tell **Bob**'s parents. Along the way, other forest animals join them in mourning. When they arrive, they explain the tragic events to **Bob**'s parents, and the entire village mourns the loss of their brave leader.
Despite their sorrow, the frogs find a glimmer of hope. As they mourn, they see the man with the pot again, this time leading them to a stream of fresh, abundant water. There, the frogs and other animals find a new home. *NYC* and *Han**, though heartbroken, know that **Bob**'s bravery and leadership helped guide them to safety. They decide to make the stream their new home, and although they will always remember **Bob* as the leader and the bravest of them all, they find peace in the new life he helped them discover.
