I want this as a baby shower gift. I'm going to learn this while I'm pregnant and play it for my daughter every night as she goes to bed until she is old enough for me to teach her. It'll be the best bonding experience. Both of us can play for her children and then when I die, my great grand children will play it at my funeral.

The Kalimba is way too cool. You hold it in the same way you hold a cellphone, which is what nearly everybody is doing nowadays, but you look a thousand times cooler while at it 😋. And it's portable as well, so you can always bring it and play on your free time, even of it's just for 10 minutes. 😊
She is really like holding a phone, her left and right thumbs are like typing on phone keyboard.
I'm really bad at learning instruments, tried a lot in my life, but when I saw a Kalimba this was exactly the observation I made as well! Out hands are already used to holding something this way so I figured learning a Kalimba won't be as hard. And it really isn't. Finally I have an instrument that I can play. I learned 2 songs in just a week and I'm still going. I recommend the Kalimba to everyone who's considering playing an instrument
@@Tyldama24 I can't play instruments. My favorite is piano and I always wanted to play piano but It's too hard and expensive to just buy not knowing if I'll ever learn. I fell in love with kalimba a year ago, it looked easy and sounded beautiful. Today I got my first Kalimba I ordered. I'm starting with basics, watching teacher April's tutorials, I'm glad I'm able to learn this new thing and try playing music myself!

i play the kalimba, and I own two right now. they're incredibly easy to learn. the hardest part about them is memorizing the music. they're super easy and good for people who're beginner musicians looking to learn about music and music theory.
