Honestly my favorite run so far. Between Mighty's impressive skill at this game, the hype moments throughout, and the constant back and forth from the runners while also bringing great commentary so people can follow along, it ended up making this one super good!

I love how mad Poo is at discovering new tech he hadn’t seen before. It really shows how good these gamers are at finding tech and skips and tricks.

Same. I was skeptical when I saw the thumbnail, but when I saw the couch, all was right.
Barb has the friendliest evil maniacal laugh. It sounds so nice until you remember he's laughing about how much he made people suffer.
This run was insane! That ending... wow. Kudos to MrMightyMouse. Honestly, it was a better ending because of the struggle. "One more time," for that kind of gameplay to close out the run... I can't get enough of it. GG!!!
And he could've died in that final attempt a few times, some very close calls. GG to him, that must not have been easy to do in front a of a big crowd and with the pressure of a time limit.
This run was so damn fun with MrMightymouse playing, with Barb and Poo commentating. Last 15 minutes was so intense! Highlight of the entire event imo. Bravo! ❤ 👏🏼 🎉

For anyone who doesn't know, the involved shared that, as Mr.MightyMouse went into last attempt on Bowser, GDQ org told them, that it's his *last possible attempt* (since run went over estimate), and then they would have to cut it, which, and i want to emphasize it, there is no wrong on their side, GDQ runs on a very tight schedule with hundreds of runners and hundreds of thousands viewers waiting for certain games/speedrunners.
I thought i'd share this, just cause this little bit of knowledge makes this already incredibly impressive run into a legendary.
Succeeding on doing 100% of incredibly challenging Grand Poo World 3 basically at last minute - what a champion Mr.MightyMouse is.
And of course all the love for the Barb for making it and to GPB for entertaining commentary.
One of the best runs on GDQ!

I really hope anybody who hasn't seen this game before takes me advice - DON'T LET THIS BE YOUR FIRST EXPERIENCE. Mighty Mouse is too good, go watch somebody struggle for hours first (Poo, Mitch, Shoujo) then come back here to appreciate just how good he truly is!!
Having seen various of the absolute best players take hours upon hours to beat this when it came out, it's bloody crazy how easy he makes it look now!

That was absolutely amazing! The tension, the support, and overall gameplay was simply GENUIS! Im not afraid to admit I cried at the end. That was so satisfying to watch.

I have never been so stressed by a game I wasn't playing. My hands were sweating in sympathy just watching some of this.
I‘m way too unskilled and don’t have the time to practice at the moment, but seeing mrmightymouse absolutely slay this awesome hack with possibly the best commentary you could wish for, absolutely made my week. The level at 1:18, he doesn't die. The world map doesn't reappear. Plus you make Mario hold onto what ever, no way he dies. Meaning you could do a deathless run. Not to mention, there is getting hit and then there is actual death. You're supposed to get hit, if you arent in the right spot, then you do die.
You could argue the ankh reviving Mario means he didn't *truly* die. It could, by this logic, only be a death if you botch the ankh.
