Years ago esp '70s and 80s, when men were ordained into Ministry, family members considered such actions as miserable. Today, we celebrate ordination.
This your comment is funny 😅I can’t stop laughing. Please things have change and not even pastoral office alone, there were so many positions that looked miserable to be in. Please it is a good thing ok. To be ordained as a Pastor.

In my formal church, when church was planted you will be given one year to establish. Then the years ahead you will be asked to be paying certain percentage of offering and tithe and first Sunday of the month. We are not many in our church and those attending the church were mostly aged women and men that even needed help. But this headquarter don't care, you must bring that amount given to you to bring. Most of the time it's my pastor that will bring his own money and give to the financial secretary to complete and paid. He was able to doing that because he is a lawyer. If you are not meeting up you can be sacked or replaced by another pastor. What they care about is how much money you are making for the church not how many people are saved.
It is as bad as that, those pastors too are thieves they should leave that kind of church and go and work for their daily needs and those that are working already as a professional lawyer and all are greedy or just love position.... churches are scam in Nigeria.
