හතරැස් බැම්ම යනු බාලදක්‍ෂ විද්‍යාවේ එන ප්‍රධානතම බැමි වර්ග 2නෙක් එකකි. එය කිසියම් කනු 2ක් එකිනෙකට ලම්භකව ගැට ගැසීමට යොදාගනී. කොස්පොත්තා ගැටයෙන් පටන් ගෙන කොස්පොත්තා ගැටයෙන්ම ඉවර වෙන හතරැස් බැම්ම බොහෝ කියාකාරකම් රැසකට උපයෝගී කරගනියි.
Square Lashing is the most prominant lashing used in Scouting. It is basically used to tie two poles together perpendicularly. It starts from clove hitch and ends from clove hitch. It is used in making different types of structures such as pioneering work, wesak lanterns, fences, etc.
