Being an angry drunk and being an alcoholic are two different things. I'm not sure where you got your. medical training but I can tell you that by definition someone who gets aggressive is not classified as an alcoholic. Alcoholism is more or less someone that can not function without. Someone that hides their alcohol. Someone that's life is unraveling. She's not an alcoholic. She just is a sloppy mess that has all those moments edited into a 50-minute show. I guarantee you if most people had months of their life and their worst moments consolidated into segments we'd all look ludicrous.

She skipped on Spain because Kroy was not invited, yet there was no slap on the wrist from Andy and RH producers. Yet, in Kenya's own situation, it's a bloody uproar. Compare their stories logically and you will see how unfair Kenya has been treated compared to Kim and co that have done similar. Shoot...did we ever see Big Poppa on the show? Nope!

Dear Dorinda, The problem that I had with your response to Luann's comment at the dinner was that your level of emotion was not appropriate for the situation. This seems to be a repeating problem with you! When you drink you get extremely aggressive and mean-spirited. Luann was really just trying to be a friend and pull you back. She didn't get up and make a big spectacle of it. She very quietly directed her comment to you. Since Luann was not drinking she had a clearer perspective and could see you headed down the path of aggression and nastiness. I think most people would want a friend to give them the heads-up and pull them back in a situation like that. If you didn't like it then the appropriate response would be something like, "excuse me Luann but I'm fine right now and please don't comment on my drinking". That would be reasonable! I don't necessarily think Dorinda is a full blown alcoholic but maybe rather has a binge drinking issue or problems with drinking where it makes her very aggressive and turn. I think the definition of having an alcohol problem is if you have negative consequences stemming from your drinking. Dorinda definitely fits that criteria.
Agape Agency Of Virginia just saw this after typing my own response to Andy and co's terribleness! Some of the women on the RH shows don't show their men and these are people trying to protect a relationship they've had for YEARS! Yet they punish someone that has been burned EVERY time she's brought someone she was dating to the show, and low ball her for taking the smart route of protecting her new relationship before the RH vultures descend. I guess that in Andy and co's mind, those women deserve happiness and Kenya deserves to be slapped when she works on her own happiness, despite giving us good tv at the same time. As a person with a past with alcohol I can understand Dorinda. I don't like her at all but I know that she needs to realize that she has a drinking problem. When she comes to terms with it she will try to get help. I have been sober for 20- years. I did this on my own. I knew I was in trouble and decided on a new lifestyle. I wake up happy everyday and the best thing is that I remember what I did the day before.

Kenya get's punished for hiding her husband. Andy treats the RHOA girls horribly yet that show is the MVP of the franchise. Lets face it RHOA's cast are more iconic and have more star power than other franchises. The ladies should get together and quit the show, create their own show called only "The Hotlanta" with Carlos King as executive producer and bring to Bravo since Andy is no longer the head of Bravo.

Is Dorinda an alcoholic? I don't think so...Ramona is a bit loopy and fun when she's drinks, so we all enjoy her then. Bethenny is much nicer and less stuck up, and Dorinda slobbers or lashes out at people instead. We notice her more because of how the alcohol affects her. While I do not believe she is an alcoholic, she needs to figure out what her drinking limit is and not cross over it. Moderation is all we need...have fun, but don't be a raging drunk. Not a cute look, moreso, on national tv.

Yeah it's so strange. How could she go from being one of her closest friends/biggest supporters to not speaking to her since wrapping filming? This has not been a good season for Dorinda - her treatment of Sonja, Luann and Bethenny has not been good. It's actually a bit worrying how she can treat them and have a complete lack of self awareness about it. I think they (Luann, Bethenny and Sonja) all put a mirror up to Dorinda re her behaviour that she doesn't want to see and that is why she does not like them anymore. Whereas Ramona, Carole and Tinsley do not and Dorinda can continue living in denial/ignorance which she would prefer to do than face the truth...

Kim insulting the women all throughout the season and acting she was too good to be with them, was entitled. She walking off the set when the women let her know how they felt about her, and she expecting Andy to get the women off her back when it is not expected of him to do it of the others is entitled. Did you not watch the vitriol that spewed out of her mouth in the bathroom? The Kim from season 1 was semi chill, the Kim today has a giant stick up her butt and expects the women to kowtow to her when she NEEDS them to help boost her show's ratings. Many of the acts Kim pulled, like how she couldn't even go anywhere without Kroy is the biggest flag for me. She skipped on Spain because Kroy was not invited, yet there was no slap on the wrist from Andy and RH producers. Yet, in Kenya's own situation, it's a bloody uproar. Compare their stories logically and you will see how unfair Kenya has been treated compared to Kim and co that have done similar. Shoot...did we ever see Big Poppa on the show? Nope!

If I hurt as many people as she did, and if I knew people close to me thought I had a problem, I would seriously cut back or quit! The amount of times she has hurt people or made them feel uncomfortable is terrible. That would be enough for me to take a hard look at myself, but she doesn’t want to do that. It’s sad!

Dear Dorinda, The problem that I had with your response to Luann's comment at the dinner was that your level of emotion was not appropriate for the situation. This seems to be a repeating problem with you! When you drink you get extremely aggressive and mean-spirited. Luann was really just trying to be a friend and pull you back. She didn't get up and make a big spectacle of it. She very quietly directed her comment to you. Since Luann was not drinking she had a clearer perspective and could see you headed down the path of aggression and nastiness. I think most people would want a friend to give them the heads-up and pull them back in a situation like that. If you didn't like it then the appropriate response would be something like, "excuse me Luann but I'm fine right now and please don't comment on my drinking". That would be reasonable! You don't try to eviscerate a friend like that! It would be like somebody bumping in to you and you responding by pulling a butcher's knife from your pocket book and stabling them repeatedly. Dorinda in total denial. No one else on the show acts like they have a drinking problem except her. Even Luann you could see was spiralling after her failed marriage. Dorinda has been a drunk ever since she started and its escalating. The rumours about her and John make it sound like they are a messy couple.
I don't necessarily think Dorinda is a full blown alcoholic but maybe rather has a binge drinking issue or problems with drinking where it makes her very aggressive and turn. I really have loved Dorinda and really hope she is ok, but I mean we all see what goes on the show... the slurred speech, aggressive comments, and anger that comes out only when she has been drinking. Agape Agency Of Virginia just saw this after typing my own response to Andy and co's terribleness! Some of the women on the RH shows don't show their men and these are people trying to protect a relationship they've had for YEARS! Yet they punish someone that has been burned EVERY time she's brought someone she was dating to the show, and low ball her for taking the smart route of protecting her new relationship before the RH vultures descend. I guess that in Andy and co's mind, those women deserve happiness and Kenya deserves to be slapped when she works on her own happiness, despite giving us good tv at the same time. So done with the entire RH everything. Once they wrap up the NY show, I'm unsubscribing to everything Andy has anything to do with. The whole situation stinks.

As a person with a past with alcohol I can understand Dorinda. I don't like her at all but I know that she needs to realize that she has a drinking problem. When she comes to terms with it she will try to get help. I have been sober for 20- years. I did this on my own. I knew I was in trouble and decided on a new lifestyle. I wake up happy everyday and the best thing is that I remember what I did the day before.
Bad choices Medley...the meanest drunk and I’ve known a few. She hits way below the belt, stuff that can never be forgotten! Medley needs to go to rehab and “get healthy”! The “ Jovani thing” was just embarrassing herself! She sure can’t pick men either, John is a horrible insecure man.
Dorinda is one of the meanest and revengeful drunks I have ever seen. She does cheapen the franchise as someone else else mentioned. None of the other girls get nearly as drunk as she and I recall the season when she was accused of some pretty hard drugs. That is probably why she continues her relationship with John, he enables both the alcohol and drug use. One can tell, she doesn't even like him. She had better start being careful with all the car-fentanil being laced into drugs these days.

Is Dorinda an alcoholic? I don't think so...Ramona is a bit loopy and fun when she's drinks, so we all enjoy her then. Bethenny is much nicer and less stuck up, and Dorinda slobbers or lashes out at people instead. We notice her more because of how the alcohol affects her. While I do not believe she is an alcoholic, she needs to figure out what her drinking limit is and not cross over it. Moderation is all we need...have fun, but don't be a raging drunk. Not a cute look, moreso, on national tv.

Sorry Dorinda, I love you but you point the finger more than anyone, and you DO have a drinking problem. It is not normal to become that aggressive when you are drinking. I know my limits and I stop when I feel myself losing control (mostly because I've thrown up one too many times). Know your limit. It's not a good look on you. A little therapy might be a good thing for you. Seems you have some issues, maybe still grieving.
