We just bought the same liner. We got our pool 4 years ago and one winter the wall got crushed and we got a hole in the liner. We patched it but next summer more holes showed up. We tried patching but it still leaked from God knows where. This is Boulder swirl I think. Ours is in transit and should arrive soon. I didn’t know about the rocks, I was considering adding them but maybe I won’t 😅. I actually prefer a light coloured pool so I can’t wait for the new liner to fade 😂. I’m wondering what it is that they put around the pool that looked like a foam circle
Wow, bummer about all the holes in the liner! Once everything is up and running it’s great and we really enjoy it. We weren’t aware of the rocks at first either, glad we didn’t have then very deep before we started to remove most of them. The foam cove on the bottom provides a barrier to protect the liner from stretching and ballooning under the pool wall, enhancing the integrity. Good luck with everything, let us know how it goes! ☀️
In our area, for a qualified installer this was an excellent price! We could have gone with a cheaper person, but we wanted to make sure it was safe and would hold up for several years. If you’ve ever seen pools that are off balance or crooked, then that’s a poor install. Cheers!
Sorry for the late response, the liner price was $829.99. The liner replacement labor was $1200.00 The pad under the liner was $399.99. We also spent some money for new coving, and some labor to install the coving, repair the damage by the skimmer basket and the full price of everything is now in the description box at the very bottom. My wife and I just purchased a new home with a 10 year old 24' round above ground pool. The top 5 inches of the liner is slack and you can actually reach around to the outside and pull it taunt but then it goes right back to slack. How would I go about correcting this?
Great question! Sounds like the track the liner sits in is not working anymore (old, defective, or broken). If it were us, we would check with a local company to have the track replaced, or the liner and track both replaced. It can be dangerous to have the liner slip so much and the pool walls possibly collapse. Might be a good idea sooner than later. Let’s us know how it goes! 🙂

They were 4-7” deep in some spots. It really puts pressure on the walls, so we are slowly bringing it down to around 2-3’”. Thanks for watching! 🏊♀️

What was it that you put around the edges before you put the black tarp I ??
Pool cove which helps keep the weight of the water inside the pool and prevents the liner from ballooning out from under the bottom of the pool wall.
