How to Lime a Fish Pond [Liming process of an Earth Fish Pond]

In today's video, we are showing you the liming process of a fish earth pond and the reasons why it should be done after constructing the ponds. So, the essence of applying lime (calcium carbonate) is to kill all unwanted organisms in the fish pond before stocking takes place in order to have a safe environment for the fishes, and also to grow the blue-green algae for the benefitss of the fishes. We also ensure that the ponds are well fenced to avoid encroachment of other predators into the fish pond. The stocking will stake place atleast 14 days after the liming is done.
