Crazy how life happens and one "failed" opportunity leads to a door opening at just the right time! Parts of the original cast recording demos of Smile are on the album Howard Sings Ashman, and Jodi sings that amazing (and crazy coincidental) song called Disneyland so beautifully! Definitely listen to it and try NOT to hear Ariel sing it- near impossible! Howard Ashman's impact and influence were really something special. He is so missed.
