This is an old video, so you may never see this comment. But I appreciate your candor when you admit to fatigue, discouragement, and emotional struggles. Proves that even elite hikers can face the same human limitations as the weekend warriors and day hikers. Really enjoy your videos.
OMG i've got you on in the background while i'm trying to finish an assignment right now....when I switched over at around 7:30 I saw the best smile from your hubby. Wow. I hope I get to do something that brings that kind of fantastic joy. Thanks for the inspiration :)
Hey Krysta! So awesome to relive this part of the trail through your video. I almost forgot how terrible the bugs on the Six Passes were! You guys look like a great team. Definitely need to redo Section E in the future. So sorry I didn't get to your fb message, I read it but forgot to reply!
What an incredible section of this trip. You made it through some incredibly long days, with the physical and mental challenges. Good on you both! I love following along!
Nice video. I think we crossed each other just north of Pinto lake around July 30. I was heading south with 3 others. We met along Cataract Creek, just we forded it. Cheers.
Hey! Man, this was so great to watch. When I was on section E I had planned to do Six Passes, but when I woke up in the morning at Avalanche it was snowing a lot, and the weather over the next day was not looking good. It was amazing seeing your trip through six passes. It confirmed all the tales I've heard about it from other hikers. Pure cross country bliss. I love a good alpine lake swim - good on you guys. Cheers.
5:41 honestly, the days that are a suffer fest are what make it. It's type 2 fun, in the moment it SUCKS, but looking back on it, it is the greatest feeling in the world!
I can't wait for six passes! Also, running out of food is a solid fear of mine. LOL. Your guys' snack game is strong! On another note, you've never gone back to talk about your sleeping bag? You had a horrible first night in it, but how'd it do the rest of the time? Keep Moving Forward
@@KrystaNorwick I was supposed to hike the A.T. March 2020, but we all know how that turned out. I figure if travel is allowed, I will head out on the gdt this summer.

16:24 Skyline Trail in Jasper is one of my 2021 to-do hikes!

The six passes is truly a gem of the Rockies! But we agree, more food would have made it much more enjoyable 😊

@@KrystaNorwick The rest of my hike, like almost all hikes, was fantastic.

Wow. Absolutely stunning scenery. Really enjoying watching your diary of this incredible journey!
Thanks for sharing the beauty. Also, it was good to hear that there is hope for those of us not there yet.

You are my favourite reality show! So inspired. I'd be satisfied if it was possible for me to just one small section of this epic journey.
Your videos have inspired me to hike this trail again!

Amazing views and revelations!!💜💜
When did u do the trip what day of the month and when did u end?
Krysta started July 20th and we ended on Sept 7th. There was a one week break in the middle for a wedding.
Great video. Watching 3 years later. This looks way nicer than the PCT.
Thanks for sharing your journey! Was wondering if it was all random/wild camping between Pinto Lake and the Skyline? Thanks.
@@KrystaNorwick THANK YOU! And your hubby is going to have the best old man smile and laugh!!! Your guys grandkids will love it!😊
Congratulations! I wish I was there to swim with you 🥰
