@@spiderlab2526 I'm not from the US neither, just Googled him some time ago. He was actually a pretty chill dude, I recommend his shows. There is even 24 hour livestreams on youtube with his stuff.
Bob Ross was fantastic. Not unheard of outside US at all. Im from UK and watched his programmes in the 90s. He had a calm soothing voice.... Techno ....... Lets go crazy

I love the idea of a track being becoming associated with a particular sampling excursion. Probably more memorable than loading up a VST.
As a primarily hardcore techno producer, this was really inspiring and gives me a lot to take back to my hardcore productions.

AMAZING value video, truly a master at this craft, it's so elegant, the way you crafted everything seemed so off individually, but when you crafted the track, oof, you literally put your own words into an entire video "house is about a feeling while techno is more about the landscape" you truly painted the landscape with all of those beautiful colors.

Fantastic. I just want to mention one important element in techno that I think is essential to making good techno. Polyrhythms. Having different elements of the track in different time signatures makes the track more interesting and helps people to "disconnect" their brain on the dancefloor.
Good example: I Hate Models - Sorrows of the Moon

Tuplets and nested tuplets etc. can also be really cool ways of mismatching swing percentages, can have a really distinct sound when stuff locks into those patterns, but make sure it's subtle unless you're being particularly experimental or merely doing it for a little fill.
This is also a great way of getting grace notes to sound a particular way, a lot of cool stuff can be done, from smooth to jarring, and I think Techno producers will have fun with either variety. (Try nesting triplets in a 5/8 polymeter, for example, the sky is the limit)

Yes you nailed it, that´s Techno, of course the similar techniques, coming in from another mind should sound compeletly diferent, but the key is to think Techno (to not to loose the style type of sounds) try to have a transcendental subject for your song, when doing sound desing or when preparing the track, it´s pretty much like painting. keep a global idea and imagine how the sound for the track should be, Keeping the title in mind as an objectif is the starting point to me, Sorry for my bad English

Part 1 reminds me of this old doco I have on VHS about Detroit techno. The tape is totally stuffed thou as everyone kept watching that and Alchemy's New Years special with Underworld live.

A great series... Got to see your inspirations in past works and "home made kitchen ingredients" made for your next meal... Back in the days of early Synclavier sampling the libraries were absolutely awful outside of a few orchestral tid bits thus every Synclav user was a cast away thrown on to a desert island without a map compelling a survival instinct or sorts to basically make happen what you just demonstrated! For sure the biggest weakness of any new artist is undue enthrallment of "factory" preset or "pre fabricated" libraries... Dare I utter the letters "PNC." A fun ride sir - thanks for sharing!

It gets too busy in the version at the end, but until about 2/3rds of the way through, it sounds like something off Basic Channel circa 1997/8. Great stuff!
