Got this a few weeks ago. Amazing budget mic for my streams! Works well with obs. Pair this with SteelSeries Sonar, and the background noise is nonexistent! 8/10
i have actually watched over 30 reviews for this microphone as im buying it for a friend and i wanna make sure its the right choice, and i came back to comment this after finishing my research, this literally is the absolute best review ive seen so far from a really awesome human! this video was enough to conclude my research on its own! very informative and the b roll is insane! ad worthy! you have earned a very well deserved sub and a lifelong fan! you should be in the big league with seven figure subs my guy tldr i cant get over the fact that he is not bussin 5 million subs and i came to give him credit where credit is due
I would like to see what it sounds like if you get closer to it, the distance you had to it made it sound a little thin when compared with the one you normally use. And how is the noisefloor, some mics on that price range have pretty bad issues with the noise floor. That said, pretty solid for the price and the intended use case.
It was about 6 inches away from my face in the video. The sound is much thinner than my normal studio mic but that setup is also over $1200 more money. :) The noise floor seems decent on this mic. I had the gain input set to Max and when I increased the audio recording to +15db there wasn't any apparent humming or buzzing. Perhaps in future videos I can do more testing and measurements but as I stated at the end of this video there were no issues I noticed with my copy of this mic. My copy is very solid and impressive for only $35.

When the noise canceling is on and youre just staring and smiling it makes me happy. Dont ask why.
