I enjoy watching the videos for your personal journals because it gives me ideas on how to be more “free” in my journaling. I like your page title “Alternatives to ‘I did nothing…’. That’s a great idea for a page….we all have “do nothing days”, and then feel guilty because the day has passed by with nothing to show for our time…which is SO precious!! 😁

Thank you for taking the pressure off for journaling on a regular basis. I created a 365 journal to nold 1 year in it. Well, it now holds 2 years. I so love going back to it.
I decided to get back into scrapbooking/journaling after a 15-year break (i was 18 when i started with my son a baby)... I just jumped in & bought waaaay too much stuff the past couple months. Way too much. Instant regret seeing this kind of book. Oof.
Your channel was the first I found while searching tutorials.
Can i just say... watching your flip through filled me with so many emotions, I teared up so many times... the thought you put into all the memories and moments plus the fact you used items from every day life (i didn't know what junk journaling was until yesterday) was just beautiful.
The chocolate wrappers, the perfume, the little notes, even the bread tops...
I can't wait to watch more videos, because i have a similar style when journaling/doodling...
scrapbooking back in the day was difficult because my brain doesn't do crisp uniform lines & symmetry...
As i progressed, my pages were more like collages with a *touch* of photos... i did the doodling over lines & little hand drawn borders & messy touches...
Just thinking aloud at this point.

Yes, it's okay to step away. I purchased a "December" journal for 2022 and only used one signature. The 2nd signature has entries from December 2023 and I'm using the 3rd signature for J#unkJournalJanuary2024. Loved the flip through. Thanks for sharing and Happy Crafting!

I've had years where I filled in a journal even couple months and years where I had the same journal for over a year. I kind of see it like sometimes I have more of a desire to put down my thoughts and experiences and sometimes I don't, and it's supposed to serve me in the season I'm in right now. It's therapeutic to journal in my opinion, but only if you don't feel pressured to do it.
