I did something similar. I created a huge cow pasture for my milking barn out of the forest area in farmland 101. Combined fields 60-68, 69-76 and 77-82. Next cow pasture will be farmland 99.

Yup I usually try and fertilize once before planting, then again with the planter if it supports fertilizer. If not I'll fertilize again after planting and spray herbicide if it's needed
@@Binks-Farm. I haven’t been able to get it to work on the same map. After harvest in the fall I tried to fertilize, then wait till spring for planting and let it do the 2nd stage. But first time I tried that on this map it didn’t work and I still had to fertilize after the crops came up. That was before the update tho so maybe I’ll have to try it again

Ever try and fertilize before planting? At least 1 stage so then the planter could be the 2nd stage?
