Great video! I've seen this aircraft in person twice now, and it's even more spectacular than the photos. Dillon and Mike are currently finishing the refurbish of my 1952 Cessna 195. I can attest to their class, professionalism, and attention to detail. There's no doubt they have a passion for vintage aircraft and seaplanes, but especially the Cessna 190/195. I wish Dillon the very best in carrying on the family legacy that started with John. There are so few truly talented vintage aircraft artisans like him around any more. The aircraft community needs to rally behind this family and lend them their support!
I saw it at Osh '23! Had I known that it had been so beautifully restored, I would have hunted it down at Vintage and photographed the interior. Maybe next time...
Fabulous! We flew a Cessna C37 Airmaster for decades. Superb aircraft.

Beautiful plane, beautiful restoration, a lot of work put into the plane but the effect is stunning... Best regards.

Stunning really is the only word to describe this C195. Just wondering though what the purpose of the flare system was?
Night Landings, emergency or otherwise.
That 21k in '48 for a 300 hp 195 in todays dollar is about 270k...hefty sum back then
A Door on the left side came with the optional floats
Incredible! Will you be bringing it to AirVenture this year so I can drool at it?
It will be back!
