Fantastic material, as always! For me, the most challenging aspect of setting goals is that, it is hard to multitask and juggle short-term goals with long-term goals. Yes, one can use Eisenhower's chart, but I believe it is still hard to keep all tasks under control.
Moreover, we change as humans over time, and we have to actively monitor these changes and adjust our goals. In a way, goals are moving targets and it is challenging to tell yourself, "you changed and you should now forget about a career path that you have been planning for the past decade and start all over."

Wow, that baby whiteboard really is a baby (small)! The windshield wiper tip is priceless! And what a deep ending to this vlog. I was just thinking yesterday about the idea of staying motivating while trying to complete a long-term project and what does one do when they have lost some of their drive for it and/or their time seems to be spent doing everything but that project and/or life has gotten in the way.
My one goal: I will read and take notes on an academic book (Women's Access to Transitional Justice in Timor-Leste) for a book review by the end of next week, January 27th.

Absolutely perfect, Sheena. Just like you :) And Sheena - do you want to break that down to two chapters a day? That's a great goal. And I can't wait to read your review! That is a great goal for all of us to aspire to. You are the best. txxx

@@TaraBrabazonChannel Thank you! I feel far from perfect though; watching this channel for self-improvement tips! And, breaking it down into two chapters a day for sure. I started reading it this morning.

Good beginning, here yeh you rocked it, I'm following you here (I'm involves in readings this days I'm with the reading of atomic habits and deep work and willpower by Roy f baumeister and.. one of my goals this year because I don't think that I'm very focused and also not having this self control and I had some bad habits..I sleep a lot, and I find that this kind of behaviour will never take me to achieve my year goals)

    Question: When do you sleep?
This has been a question I have asked many people throughout my life. It is a problem for me that has worsened over the years, due to ongoing trauma on top of PTSD, and trying to manage the excess moisture and humidity that promote the growth of Stachybotrys (black mold) in my home.
Do you go back to bed after your writing time of 2-4am, or do you go to bed at 6pm in order to achieve a decent night of uninterrupted sleep? Sincerely, how the heck..?
