His name is George :) (or Georgina haha we don't know if a girl/boy!) and he/she comes every day to say hello!! :) They're supperrr friendly birds around where I live and the locals have been feeding them for 20+ years ! At first I didn't want to feed them - everything I know about wildlife (which is limited) says that you shouldn;t feed wild birds because 1. they become dependant on it and 2. it's bad for their gut microbiome. but I was given very strict orders on eactly what I should and shouldn't feed them by the previous house owner and eventually I caved in because they come every day multiple times a day and they're so friendly when you feed them!! Usually magpies are territorial and swoop in nesting season, but if you have a connection with them, they don't! So the kookaburras and magpies come around all the time to say hey! x
